Element Ready Enclosure: The Rockford Fosgate Element Ready RNGR18-CAPM2 is a 4-speaker audio cap designed to mount on back cab of select 2018+ Polaris Ranger models. The high-output amplified speaker enclosure replaces the blank cap included with the Rockford Fosgate RNGR18-ROOF2M2 and RNGR18-ROOF4M2 audio systems, providing high-performance audio for the outside of your Polaris Ranger. The RNGR18-CAPM2 installs directly to the vehicle OEM mounting holes and features pre-configured plug-and-play wiring that connects directly to your RNGR18-ROOF2M2 or RNGR18-ROOF4M2 audio system. The enclosure's four 8" full-range drivers are powered by a built-in M5-800X4 4-channel amplifier.

M2-8HB 8" 2-Way Speakers: The RNGR18-CAPM2 includes four installed 8" M2-8HB 2-way Color Optix speakers:

• Marine Tested: Rockford Fosgate uses industry standard tests (ASTM B117 salt/fog and ASTM G154 UV) to ensure the M2-8HB speakers are durable in the difficult marine environment.
• Woofers: The woofer cones are injection molded, mineral filled polypropylene with UV inhibitors. This molding process assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also light weight and rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.
• Horn Tweeters: The M2-8HB speakers include 1" high-efficiency horn-loaded tweeters with high temp Kapton voice coil formers, providing exceptional clarity and volume.
• Surrounds: The TPE surrounds (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer, a synthetic rubber) are UV and salt/fog resistant.
• Color Optix RGB LEDs: There are red, green, and blue LEDs in the back of the tweeter casing, to create a glow on the woofer cone. The LEDs can be powered individually, or in any combination you like. Depending on what combination of LED wires is connected, they light red, green, blue, yellow, pink, aqua, or white. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on and a 1-amp fuse should be added in-line (fuse not included). The LEDs can also be controlled using Rockford Fosgate's LED Controller (item number 575PMXRGB, sold separately).
• ICC Crossover: The ICC (Integrated Concealed Crossover) simplifies installation and protects the crossover by concealing it inside the basket, creating a cleaner look and easier installation. The crossover is 12 dB/octave high pass.
• VAST Surround: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without increasing the size of the basket.
• Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and sophisticated software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, lets Rockford Fosgate optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
• Grilles: The four installed M2-8HB speakers feature installed spoke-style sport grilles.

Dual Cargo Lights: The RNGR18-CAPM2 features two built-in LED cargo lights (white) that can provide increased visibility in the cargo bed of your Polaris Ranger.

Backup Camera: A waterproof Rockford Fosgate MX-CAM backup camera is included that installs in the speaker cap, providing a clear view of what's behind you on the PMX-3 headunit screen included with your RNGR18-ROOF2M2 or RNGR18-ROOF4M2 audio system. The backup camera includes an MX-CAM-RNGR18 wiring harness for direct plug-in to your PMX-3 headunit and Polaris Ranger.
