Features
Injection-Molded Woofers: The woofer cones are injection-molded carbon fiber and polypropylene. This molding process assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also light weight and rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.
Butyl Rubber Surrounds: The butyl rubber surrounds dampen unwanted harmonic distortion while maintaining linear geometry under extreme weather conditions. This leads to less distortion, superior frequency response, and superior durability.
CEA-2031 Compliant: Power handling conforms to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means the speaker has the capacity to handle its rated power under continuous demand, not just for an instant.
Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and sophisticated software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, lets Rockford Fosgate optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
VAST Surround: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without increasing the size of the basket.
Tweeters: The 1" Aluminum dome tweeters are mounted to an offset cantilever to eliminate frequency response anomalies due to acoustic reflection between the woofer cone and the rear of tweeter.
FlexFit Basket: The Flex Fit frame utilizes slots (where possible) instead of single screw sized holes; allowing slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted.
StampCast Basket: The T152 features StampCast steel baskets for added rigidity.
Multi-OEM Adapter: For mounting flexibility, the included brackets can mount the T152s in many 6x9 applications. The brackets can also be modified to fit many 5x7 and 6x8 applications.
Speaker Terminals: These speakers have 0.25" wide positive (+) terminals and 0.187" wide negative (-) terminals, which are too large for the vehicle-specific speaker harnesses supplied by Crutchfield for many vehicle applications. It is recommended that a pack of assorted female quick slides (item number 120FQS10PK, sold separately) be purchased and spliced to the harnesses to adapt them to the speaker terminals.

I replaced my previous pioneer 5 1/4 with these . and the difference is night and day. I finally have a lot of umphh in my music. The base comes thru clearly as well as my highs. You must use the speaker brackets cause they will not fit with the enclosures.
