About the Rockford Fosgate T2S1-13

Pushing the envelope
Pushing the envelope
Rockford Fosgate has long been in the forefront of car speaker innovation, and they've taken their game to new heights with their T2 Series subwoofers. The Power T2S1-13 subwoofer uses Rockford Fosgate's VAST cone attachment technique to achieve an increase of up to 25% in radiating cone area, allowing the 13" cone to deliver some serious low-frequency thump. The cone's carbon fiber/honeycomb aramid/glass fiber construction keeps things solid even at high SPLs, so the sub can handle up to a massive 2000 watts RMS.

The die-cast aluminum frame's fins act as heat sinks to help dissipate operating heat.
Boom inside
The T2's internal structure contributes to its high performance. The aluminum diecast frame integrates heat sink fins for maximum heat dissipation, and the triple-stacked segmented motor structure and 4-inch voice coil keep the bass booming even in extreme applications. And take a look — when isn't this Rockford Fosgate 13" subwoofer extreme?
This T2 sub represents another step forward for Rockford Fosgate, and could be just the step you've been waiting to take.

Features
Woofer: The woofer cone is a three layer design, glass fiber/aramid honeycomb/glass fiber with an aluminum dust cap.
VAST Surround: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without increasing the size of the basket. The surround is made of injection molded foam.
Terminals: The spring loaded terminals will accept bare wire up to 8-gauge.
CEA-2031 Compliant: Power handling conforms to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means the subwoofer has the capacity to handle its rated power under continuous demand, not just for an instant.
Klippel Verified: The Klippel distortion analyzer, a device that uses a laser and sophisticated software to do large-scale analysis of drivers in motion, lets Rockford Fosgate optimize the speaker's motor structure, voice coil alignment, and suspension to yield the best possible performance.
FlexFit Basket: The Flex Fit frame utilizes slots (where possible) instead of single screw sized holes; allowing slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted.
Enclosure Compatibility
Sealed Box: When using a sealed enclosure, Rockford recommends an ideal internal volume of 1.85 ft³ (1.0 ft³ to 2.0 ft³ acceptable), resulting in a -3dB point of 55.5 Hz and Qtc of 0.54. Sealed enclosures provide the most control over a woofer, will handle a lot of power, and provide accurate sonic reproduction, making them suitable to all types of music.
Ported Box: The recommended ported enclosure volume is 3.35 ft³ (4.0 ft³ minus 0.65 ft³ port displacement) with a slot port measuring 14" x 3" x 20-1/2", resulting in a tuning frequency of 38 Hz and a -3dB point of 32 Hz.

Left me astonished, blew me away literally! I would highly recommend this sub to anyone who wants some serious bass very clean crisp sound. I had a custom box made. I've had plenty of high quality pro subs but this one leaves me speechless! Have it wired with sky high 1/0 running on RP4500.1
