The Wemo Smart Video Doorbell offers an easy and convenient way to see and talk with visitors at your door, from wherever you are. That means that whether you're in your own kitchen or in another state, you can see when packages are delivered or someone arrives at your door, right from your smartphone.
This doorbell works exclusively with Apple HomeKit Secure Video, which allows you to record audio and video to your iCloud account. (iCloud+ premium subscription required.) It also integrates with your other Apple Home products, so you can manage everything with the Home app.
Clear video and sound
This doorbell supports Apple HomeKit face recognition, so it can identify family and friends you've tagged in the Home app. For everyone else, you can use the two-way talk feature to give instructions and welcome or turn away unfamiliar visitors.
It's got a nice, wide 178° vertical field of view, a whopping 223° diagonal view, and a high-resolution 4-megapixel camera that gives you detailed zoom clarity. And its night vision means it works even in low light.
Wired to work with your existing chime
To install this doorbell, you'll need a 16- to 24-volt AC wired doorbell system and a stable Wi-Fi internet connection (2.4 or 5 GHz). And since it works with your existing mechanical chime, your doorbell will sound just the same, but operate with expanded smart features.
Works with iCloud and your Apple devices
This doorbell requires an iCloud+ premium subscription and a HomePod®, Apple TV®, or iPad® set up as a home hub. You'll also need an iPhone® or iPad with iOS® 12 or later to set up the doorbell.

Overview: The Belkin Wemo Smart Video Doorbell (WDC010) lets you keep an eye on your home. It offers HD video, secure recording capability, night vision, and an impressive field of view. The video doorbell has dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, and works within the Apple HomeKit ecosystem. The WDC010 requires an Apple Home Hub for remote viewing and HomeKit Secure Video recording. It wires to existing 16 to 24-volt doorbell system. The doorbell has an IP65 weatherproof rating. Dimensions: 1.723"W x 4.897"H x 1.443"D (w/mounting bracket).
Video Camera: The Smart Video Doorbell is equipped with a 4MP camera that produces 1200 x 1600 HDR-enabled video at 24 frames per second. The camera's wide angle lens has a 178° vertical x 140° horizontal x 223° diagonal field of view with a fish-eye effect that captures more area. The video is recorded in 3:4 "portrait" mode which fills the screen when viewed on the iPhone or iPad. The video doorbell is equipped with a microphone for recording audio and for enabling two-way communication. The built-in light sensor detects the ambient light and determines if the infrared LEDs should be activated to enable night vision.
Dual-band Wi-Fi: Dual-band connectivity on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands provides better range and faster performance. It supports WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 Personal security.
Installation: The Wemo Smart Video Doorbell is designed to be installed to existing doorbell wiring with a 16V (30VA) or 24V (30VA) power system and a mechanical chime. The included power kit is used to connect the doorbell to your existing mechanical doorbell chime to allow it to ring the chime when the button is pressed. It will not work with electronic chimes. If the system has an electronic chime, or you do not want to use a chime, you can use the chime bypass connector (included). The doorbell can be installed to the left or right of the door with the included bracket. A 6mm tungsten carbide masonry bit is included for drilling into stone, stucco, cement, or wood. An angle wedge bracket is included to aim the doorbell camera 20° to the left or right to provide a better view. Screws and nylon wall anchors are included for attaching the doorbell. After mounting the doorbell, you can secure it to the bracket with the included Torx T6 security screw and screwdriver.
Setup: The video doorbell connects to Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) to operate, and needs at least two bars of signal strength for proper functionality. You will need an iPhone 7 or later or iPad with iOS 12 or later for setup with Apple HomeKit. The required 8-digit HomeKit code is located on the back of the doorbell and on the Quick Start Guide. A Home Hub is required for HomeKit Secure Video recording and remote access. You can use a HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV or iPad as a Home Hub. A supported iCloud plan is needed for storing your video clips. The video feed can only be accessed through the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or on an Apple TV device. The Apple Home app is available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 10.0 or later.
Motion Detection: The built-in motion sensor can detect motion in view of the camera and trigger a recording. The Wemo doorbell records up to 4 seconds of video prior to a motion event. The motion sensor can also trigger other HomeKit devices or Home app scenes.
Face Recognition: HomeKit Face Recognition is a service provided by Apple and part of iCloud. You can use your Smart Video Doorbell to identify visitors using facial recognition and receive a notification of who's at your door. Face Recognition requires a HomeKit Secure Video subscription and a Home Hub.
