I had an automatic cell mount that kept cycling open and closed This is a manual mount that is very secure. There wasn't a lot of room in my Ranger for the telescopic mount so I got a GPS mount for it. Everything is now compact sturdy and very secure. Good for off roading. Charges my IPhone 11 well and keeps it safe. I don't have to have the power on to remove the phone like I did with the automatic cellphone mount.

Pros: Easy to operate. I don't have to worry about having it powered to remove and place the cell phone on the holder. Standard 17mm ball mount works with most ball mounts for garmin style mounts.

Cons: The telescoping mount is pretty big.
