390MB throughout the whole house

We had an issue with weak signal where my wife sits in our family room. Numbers between 3MB to 65 MB were normal on a system that generates over 300MB. After installing the eero6+ system she gets a solid 390MB anywhere in the house (2 story) and a peak of 438MB. I would like to suggest that when installing you prepare all sites to make a smooth install. I installed the first router to my modem and had to move the TV and stand to access the ethernet cable to install the second unit. I shut down the app to continue later. This was the only issue I had because I could not access the "add another device" for some reason, it started me back at the very beginning and that won't work. Trust me. Later when opening the app again it took me to a different page that had "add another device". That's all I needed, and I finished the other two in just a few minutes. My wife is happy. You know what they say, happy wife...

Pros: Major performance increase Small Crutchfield advisors and support

Cons: 1 year warranty Price a bit high, but you usually get what you pay for.

eero 6+ Wi-Fi System (3-pack)

Works fine in my smallish house and screen porch . probably overkill but I wanted to play it safe and spend a few more dollars than perhaps necessary. Was somewhat surprised at how close the nodes needed to be to each other, but I get good performance (not great ) where I need it. The need to pay extra for security features is a negative but with no children this wasn't a deal breaker. I was a bit unhappy with Crutchfield customer support. When I ran into set up problems the first person I talked to had no idea what the problem could be and said he would send an email to the network folks and they would call me back. 2 days later I did receive a call back who confirmed that the solution I found on my own via a 3 minute google search was missing from the eero set up app. I would have expected this solution to be included in the online cheat sheet I could hear the Crutchfield rep accessing during the phone call. But after I figured out the solution all went well, and the set up was easy as most reviews mention as a reason to buy the product.
