Overall, the sound quality of the unit is exceptional. I do have it powering a JL Audio RD400/4 amp, and they compliment each other extremely nicely. The large real estate of the screen is also great and does not feel overwhelming. Its currently installed in a 2018 Toyota Camry. Plenty of adjustments to get it to sit exactly where you need it to. See pictures of install. Did not give this unit a 5 star review for a few reasons. First is the the fact that it has the 'Garmin navigation' package included. The non-Garmin model has been sold out for awhile and I was forced into this model. Honestly there is no need for this feature and is NOT worth the extra cost that comes with it. I don't know anybody that doesn't use Apple Car Play or Android Auto for their navigation needs. Also, the flexibility to adjust the home screens layout and widgets are almost none existent. With a screen this large, you should have more autonomy to adjust this to your personal needs.

GREAT HEAD UNIT

I have a couple of pet peeves about this unit but not enough to drop the rating. First installed 2013 mustang gt requiring the MUS01 face plate adapter. I had to mount the head unit further back into the cavity than it was supposed to go because I have an automatic and the shifter won't let the screen be mounted where it won't interfere with the shifter. I put the screen all the way to the top and the radio as far back as I could and the shifter still connects with the volume know on the head unit. Nothing that I can do about this. Possibly Kenwood could make the screen move up more so it clears it completely, but I doubt it. After a couple of hours of playing around with it I now have it where it barley touches the volume know, but it does touch but works fine. I love the huge screen and will never go back. If you are thinking about this I would say go for it.

Pros: Great looking unit

Cons: Auto shifter rests against the volume control knob when parked.
