Overview: The stylish Sonos Ace over-ear headphones are tuned to give you a unique personal listening experience. With 40mm custom-designed drivers, the headphones deliver clear and accurate audio from your digital sources. Active Noise Cancellation and Aware Modes let you decide whether or not you want to hear external sounds along with your content. Ace headphones can swap the TV audio from any compatible Sonos soundbar, giving you a personal home theater experience. The headphones come with a USB-C audio/charging cable, an Aux cable (3.5mm), and a zippered storage case with a removable cable pouch.
Bluetooth: The Ace headphones feature Bluetooth 5.4, and supports audio streaming from any Bluetooth-enabled device. You can connect the headphones to two Bluetooth devices and easily switch between them in a multipoint configuration. While listening via Bluetooth, you can enable Dolby Head Tracking and Sonos Intelligent Motion Processing to hear music coming from all directions.
Voice Assistant: The Ace headphones support the native Voice Assistant of your smartphone (i.e. Siri, Google Assistant, etc.). In addition, you can activate Sonos Voice Control on the headphones to control your whole Sonos system.
TV Audio Swap: You can easily switch from listening to your TV audio on your Sonos soundbar or home theater speaker to one or two pairs of Sonos Ace headphones. Your headphones must already be set up in the Sonos app, and connected to your iOS or Android device, and Wi-Fi enabled on the soundbar/speakers. The TV audio can be swapped to your headphones via the Content Key on your headphones (long press) or through the Sonos Ace's info screen on the Sonos app.
TrueCinema: TrueCinema technology can provide a more lifelike sound experience through your headphones. This new technology precisely maps your theater/listening room, then provides a surround sound experience that makes you feel as if you're listening to your loudspeakers in your room, even though you're wearing the Ace headphones.
Active Noise Cancellation/Aware Mode: Sonos Ace headphones passively isolates outside noise with their plush memory foam and vegan leather ear pads. World-class Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) lets you listen to your favorite content without annoying external noise. Adaptive Cancellation, available with a software update, improves the ANC experience by adapting when your surroundings change. Sidetone mixes in a bit of your own voice during calls, so you can hear yourself more clearly. Sonos Ace uses its built-in microphones to capture and eliminate ambient noise so you can listen in relative quiet. When you want to stay in touch with your surroundings, Aware Mode uses the same mics to let in outside noise, so you can engage in conversation without removing your headphones.
Onboard Controls: The right earcup has a Content Key that presses and slides to control music playback (play/pause, next track, previous track), and volume up/down. It also controls the TV Audio Swap function with your Sonos soundbar. Beside the Content Key is the power button and Bluetooth pairing button. In the Sonos app, you can turn on/off Active Noise Cancellation and Aware Mode, and set up your Voice Assistant function, and toggle them on or off with the power button.
USB-C Port: The USB-C port has a dual function. It can be used to charge the headphones with included USB-C cable and a USB power adapter. You can still listen to Bluetooth audio while you charge the battery. The USB-C port can be used to plug into an audio device with the USB-C cable or with the Aux audio cable (3.5mm plug). This is useful for in-flight entertainment, or for other devices without Bluetooth capabilities.
Wear Detection: Sensors in the ear cups can detect if you are wearing the headphones and when you take them off. If you take off the headphones while listening to music, the headphones will pause the audio, and will turn themselves off after 30 minutes of inactivity. If a phone call comes in, you can answer the call automatically by putting on the headphones. Taking off the headphones during a call switches the audio to your phone's speaker. Wear Detection can be activated/deactivated in the Sonos App, as desired.
Battery: The headphones are equipped with a 1060mAh Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The battery charges from 0% to 100% in approximately 3 hours via the included USB-C cable. It requires a 15-watt or higher Power Delivery (PD) wall charger (not included). A fully charged battery provides up to 30 hours of music playback or call time. With Active Noise Cancellation or Aware Mode enabled, the time is reduced to 24 hours. A 3-minute Rapid Charge provides approximately 3 hours of listening time.
Sonos App: The Sonos Ace headphones, as well as your entire Sonos system, can be configured using the Sonos App. The app has an EQ for adjusting the bass, treble, loudness, and balance. You can independently set the ANC and Aware modes, and choose your Voice Assistant. Spatial Audio, Head Tracking, TV Audio Swap, and Wear Detection functions can be toggled on or off in the app. The Sonos app is available from Google Play for Android devices (requires Android 8.0 and up), and from the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad running iOS and iPadOS 16.0 and later.

Sound and comfort are excellent as is the ANC.H owever the best feature is leveraging the capabilities to stream audio from media content, ie; Atmos.
