It continues the Marantz signature sound that has been embraced by music lovers and critical listeners around the world with its texture, nuance, and authenticity. The Horizon wireless speaker also features Marantz Radiance 360° Seamless Fabric which balances a seamless, luxurious feel, visual impact, durability, and acoustic transparency. The Marantz Horizon speaker system delivers room-filling sound while offering timeless elegance, exceptional sound, and dynamic performance thanks to its proprietary amplifier technology, multi-driver array configuration, and powerful DSP.
- 310W Amplifier: The Horizon is engineered with innovative proprietary amplifier technology. The Marantz Rise Amplifier, found in the Horizon wireless speaker system, is the next generation of Marantz amplification. It quickly and accurately amplifies audio signals for a superior listening experience. The built-in Marantz Rise Amplifier is FTC-rated a 310W and delivers dynamic and authentic room-filling sound.
- 6 Driver Array: The Marantz Rise Amplifier powers a 6 driver array for a fully immersive listening experience. The 6 driver array consists of two 1" silk soft-dome tweeters, three 2.0" midrange drivers, and one 6.5" subwoofer for full-range sound. Each driver utilizes Marantz Gravity Driver technology with neodymium magnets to ensure powerful, distortion-free sound.
- Power DSP: A power onboard Marantz Mirage DSP (digital signal processor) works with the HEOS app (for Apple iOS and Android OS) to allow for a customizable listening experience with selectable options to sculpt the Horizon wireless speaker system's sound to your own personal taste.
Dolby Atmos Music: The Marantz Horizon's 6 driver array supports Dolby Atmos Music for wall to wall and floor to ceiling sound, immersing you in every dimension of your music. While audio mixed in stereo is limited to left and right channels with elements localized within the horizontal plane, spatial audio technologies, such as Dolby Atmos allow creators to place individual sounds all around you in 3D space for a more immersive and realistic listening experience. To enjoy music in 3D spatial audio, the Marantz Horizon needs to be connected to your WiFi network and ISP (internet service provider) in order to stream Dolby Atmos Music content from a supported online service - such as Amazon Music Unlimited or Tidal (via HEOS), as well as Apple Music (via AirPlay 2).
Bluetooth 5.4: The Marantz Horizon features built-in Bluetooth 5.4 with a 98.4' wireless range for wireless music streaming. You'll be able to stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, desktop computer, or laptop to the Marantz speaker system. You can pair up to 8 Bluetooth source devices with the Horizon, but only one can be connected and used for playback at a time.
USB-C Port: The Marantz Horizon is equipped with a USB-C 2.0 port that allows you to enjoy a variety of music files from a USB mass storage class memory device; such as a USB thumbdrive or portable HDD (a portable hard disk drive will require an external power supply). Compatible USB storage devices must be formatted in FAT32 or NTFS (with up to 2TB of storage). The unit can recognize up to 500 folders/5000 files. USB devices that can be charged via USB will be charged when plugged into the speaker system's USB-C port (5V/1A); even in standby mode.

HDMI eARC: The Marantz Horizon is equipped with an HDMI eARC jack and is compatible with Enhanced Audio Return Channel, allowing you to connect to your TV with just a single cable so you can enjoy your TV's audio through the Marantz speaker system.
- The HDMI eARC jack supports 2.0ch PCM and up to 7.1ch Dolby Audio (including Dolby Digital, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus) up 24-bit/192kHz. The HDMI eARC jack does not support DTS, DTS-HD, DTS:X or other multichannel surround formats.
- The HDMI eARC jack does not support video and does not provide an on-screen menu or on-screen source information.
Optical Digital Input: In addition to HDMI eARC, the Marantz Horizon is equipped with a single optical (toslink) digital audio input that supports 2.0ch PCM and 2.1ch Dolby Digital audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. The optical digital input does not support DTS and other multichannel surround formats.
Analog Audio Input: The Marantz Horizon is also equipped with a stereo analog line-level input, allowing you to connect a line-level analog source device (such as a CD player or Tape deck). Because the Horizon does not have a dedicated Phono input, you'll need a turntable with a built-in phono preamp or external phono preamp (sold separately - see Accessories Tab) in order to connect a record player.
Mounting Options: The Marantz Horizon wireless speaker can simply be placed on a tabletop, shelf, or other flat mounting surface. Also available, is the Marantz Horizon Tripod stand (sold separately), which elegantly crafted from American walnut and robust cast iron with a luxurious satin black finish, and designed to achieve the ideal listening height to perfectly complement the Marantz Horizon wireless speaker.
Note: The speaker system is not wall mountable.

Paid subscriptions & fees will apply to access these select online music services, internet radio, and connected apps.
- Online Music Services: Compatible online music services include Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Pandora, & Tidal. The HEOS app on your Apple iOS or Android device will serve as the controller for these select online music services, while also providing song/artist/album information with Album Art. You can create a "Favorite" list within the HEOS app, so you can quickly access your favorite online music playlists.
- Internet Radio: Compatible internet radios include SiriusXM, iHeart Radio, & TuneIn. The HEOS app on your Apple iOS or Android device will serve as the controller for these select internet radio services and provide song/artist/album information with Album Art. You can create a "Favorite" list within the HEOS app to quickly access your favorite internet radio stations.
- Connect Apps: With support for Spotify Connect & Qobuz Connect, you'll be able to stream content directly from the Spotify or Qobuz app on your compatible device to the HEOS system. Your HEOS account remembers all your settings and preferences such as all your music service logins and HEOS playlists. When you'd like to add multiple smartphone or tablet controllers to your system, you only need to sign in to each new device with your HEOS user name and password. Instantly all your music services and HEOS playlists are available in the new controller too.
- Availability of online music services may vary by region. Not all services may be available at time of purchase. Some services may be added or discontinued from time to time based on decisions of the music service providers or others.

- Music Sharing: The HEOS App also has a feature called "Music Sharing" which can share the local music stored on your mobile device to other HEOS app users on your home network. The name of the mobile device you are sharing from will appear as a new Local Music source allowing other HEOS controller apps to browse and play music on your device from their device.
HEOS Wireless Multiroom Audio: Built-in HEOS technology enables the Horizon to become part of the HEOS wireless multi-room audio eco-system, allowing you to stream and control all of your local and online music effortlessly from anywhere in your home with the HEOS App on your compatible Apple iOS or Android mobile device over a wireless WiFi network connection.
