Sound bars are a great way to get better TV sound from a streamlined package. Some even have up-firing drivers that provide the immersive overhead effects of Dolby Atmos. But if you want to upgrade your movie night with even more enveloping sound, this wireless rear speaker kit will add wraparound surround effects to your compatible LG bar.
How wireless are they?
These speakers receive audio signals wirelessly, but there are still a couple of cables to connect. You don't have to run any wires from the front to the back of your TV room, because the speakers link up wirelessly with your sound bar. They do that via the included wireless receiver module, which must be connected to AC power. Then you attach the receiver module to the left and right rear speakers with the included speaker wire.

Wireless Surround Sound Kit: The LG Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) can be added to select LG soundbar speakers for true home theater surround sound. The LG Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) consists of two rear surround speakers and a wireless receiver/amplifier. The LG SPK-8S is designed to link wirelessly to a compatible LG soundbar for enhanced surround sound performance.
Note: The LG Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) will require and AC power outlet connection and speaker wire connection. The included wireless receiver/amplifier receives its audio signal wirelessly from a compatible LG soundbar speaker. The rear surround speakers connect to the wireless receiver/amplifier using the included speaker wire. The wireless receiver/amplifier also requires connection to an AC power outlet.
Compatibility: The Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) is compatible with the following 2018-2021 LG soundbars -

Wireless Receiver/Amplifier: The LG Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) includes a wireless receiver/amplifier which wirelessly receives the rear channel audio from a compatible LG soundbar speaker. The wireless receiver/amplifier features a built-in 70W x 2Ch amp to power the kit's rear surround speakers and connects to the included rear surround speakers using spring-clip terminals and the supplied two 16.5' lengths of 18AWG speaker wire. The wireless receiver/amplifier also requires AC power and features an attached 5' AC power cord that will need to be plugged into an AC power outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). The wireless receiver/amplifier can simply be tabletop mounted on a shelf, the floor, or other flat surface.
Note: The LG Wireless Surround Sound Kit (SPK8-S) will need to be initially paired with the compatible LG soundbar speaker (see owner's manual for instructions on how to do this).
Rear Surround Speakers: The LG Wireless Surround Sound Skit (SPK8-S) includes two rear surround speakers that feature a single 2" full-range driver. The rear surround speakers feature an acoustic suspension (sealed) plastic enclosure with wrap-around metal grille. The speakers are outfitted with spring-clip terminals to connect to kit's wireless receiver/amplifier using the supplied two 16.5' lengths of 18AWG speaker wire. The rear surround speakers can simply be placed on speaker stands (sold separately - see Accessories Tab), end-tables, bookshelf, or other piece of furniture. Thanks to a rear-mounted 4mm threaded insert, the rear surround speakers can also be wall-mounted using an optical wall-mount bracket (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).
Note: The included 16.5' speaker wire (18AWG) can be substituted out for a longer length of speaker wire, if needed. The spring-clips terminals will accommodate up to 14AWG speaker wire.
