Water, Dust, & Shock Proof: The Ecoxgear EcoJourney is built tough with an IP67-rating. It is water, dust, and shock proof. The IP67-rating means that the speaker is fully protected from any dust ingress and immersion in water up to 1 meter (3') for up to 30 minutes. Feel confident taking it with you to the pool, playground, campground, or other outdoor adventure.

• The EcoJourney can only be submerged in water for a short period of time. If the speaker is playing and then submerged in water, it will sound muffled, as anything submerged in water would sound like. Submerging the speaker more than 1 meter and for more than 30 minutes will damage the speaker as the water will penetrate through the waterproof barriers due to pressure.
• To ensure the EcoJourney is waterproof, the speaker's integrated storage compartment should be closed and any Aux or USB cables must be disconnected. Do not charge the unit's battery while it is being exposed to water or other liquids. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in permanent damage to the speaker and power source.

65-Watt Speaker System with EcoCast: The EcoJourney employs a 3-way speaker system featuring a 3.75" midrange driver with coaxial mounted 1.5" dome tweeter, plus a 5.25" bass woofer - all powered by a 65 watt amplifier for clear vocals, detailed midrange, and deep bass. For even bigger sound, you can wirelessly link multiple EcoJourney speakers and/or other EcoCast compatible speakers together via Bluetooth. EcoCast supports up to a total of 100 speakers with a wireless range of 30' between the main casting speaker and the other receiving speakers. The same Bluetooth audio source will be played on each speaker (the unit's Aux input cannot be utilized for EcoCast).

Built-In Bluetooth 5.0: The EcoJourney features built-in Bluetooth 5.0 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP), as well as hands-free communication (HFP) with a built-in microphone. You can pair multiple devices to the EcoJourney using SSP (Secure Simple Pairing), but only one source device can be connected at a time for playback and use. The speaker will remember the last device paired and automatically search for previous connections when the speaker is turned on or when a device comes back into Bluetooth range. The EcoJourney has a wireless Bluetooth range of approximately 50'.

• Wireless Audio Streaming: You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth enabled device (such as your smartphone, tablet, or laptop) to the EcoJourney speaker. You'll also be able to opera basic playback functions (such as Volume, Play/Pause, & Previous Next/Track) from the front-panel controls on EcoJourney. Advanced music browsing and song/artist/album info will still need to be done from your Bluetooth source device.
• Hands-Free Communication: The EcoJourney is equipped with a built-in microphone, letting you use the the EcoJourney as a speakerphone and giving you access to the digital voice assistants (Siri or Google) on your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone. Simply press the "mic" button on the speaker to activate the digital voice assistant on your connected Bluetooth smartphone and speak into the built-in microphone. The speakerphone function can be used to make phone calls or ask for weather, news, and other information.

Aux Input: The EcoJourney is equipped with a 3.5mm Aux input for connecting an external audio source that features an analog output or headphone jack.

USB Charging Port: The EcoJourney's USB-A port (5V/2.1A) can be used to charge your smartphone, tablet, or other electronic USB-enabled device.

Storage Compartment with Carry Handle & Shoulder Strap: The EcoJourney portable Bluetooth speaker features an integrated storage compartment with 100 cubic inches of space for your smartphone, keys, wallet, and other small personal items. An elastic strap and mesh pouch help to secure your things inside the compartment, while two latches on the outside make sure the compartment stays closed. The storage compartment measure approximately 10.1875" (w) x x 4.5625" (h) x 7.8125" (d). The EcoJourney also includes an integrated carry handle and comes with an adjustable shoulder strap.

Controls & Indicators: Front-panel push-button controls include Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause/Answer, Previous/Next Track, Bluetooth Pairing, and Speakerphone Mic. There is also a Master Power switch on the inside of the input/output compartment, which must be set to On for the EcoJourney to turn on. In addition, there are 4 LED battery level indicators located on the front-panel. Each LED represents 25% of a charge. Four full LEDs indicate a full charge.

Rechargeable Battery: The EcoJourney portable Bluetooth speaker is powered by a built-in lithium rechargeable battery (20,000mAH) that can provide up to 50 hours of playback time at typical volume level or 10 hours of playback at max volume level. The speaker features an interior mounted 5V/2A USB-C port (inside the storage compartment) and comes with a 40" USB-C to USB-A cable to charging the built-in battery using the included USB/AC power adapter. It takes approximately 10-12 hours to full charge the battery.
