Gauge-Style Mount: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) is designed to be installed into a pre-existing 3" gauge opening or requires a round 3" (diameter) cutout in boats, golf carts, cars, and off-road vehicles. The marine radio can be secured in the opening from the front using the included mounting plate and four screws, or from the rear using the included U-bracket and hardware. The included gasket seals around the cutout opening and chassis to further protect the unit againt water and dust intrusion.

IP66-Rated: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) has been engineered and tested for use in the harsh marine environment. It carries an IP66-rating, meaning its water resistant and dust-tight. The radio can withstand strong water spray and is fully protected against dust ingress.

2.5" Display: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) features a 2.5" LCD screen with a white background and black text. You can adjust the brightness and contrast of the screen.

• Song/Artist/Album Text: The LCD screen supports display of song/artist/album text information (no album art) from Bluetooth connected sources.
• Low Battery Warning: The marine source unit checks the voltage level of the battery that it is connected to and notifies you when your battery voltage / charge is low. When the Low Battery Warning feature is enabled, and the Radio detects that the input voltage is below the Low Battery Level setting (default is 10.8VDC), it will display the message “Low Battery Warning”.

Built-In Bluetooth: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) features built-in Bluetooth 5.1 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP), as well as hands-free communication (HFP). You can wirelessly pair multiple devices to the marine head unit via SSP (Secure Simple Pairing), and connect two phones or devices at the same time so you can easily switch back and forth. The unit has a wireless Bluetooth range of up to 100' (30m).

• Wireless Audio Streaming: You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content on your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or music player to the SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio. You'll also be able to control playback functions (such as Play/Pause, and Previous/Next Track) from the front-panel of the SoundExtreme head unit. In addition, your Bluetooth music's song/artist/album info(no album art) will be displayed on the unit's 2.5" LCD screen.
• Hands-Free Communication: The Marine Gauge Radio features a front-panel microphone that allows you to use the unit as a speakerphone for your Bluetooth connected smartphone. The hands-free communication function is disabled by default and must be turned on in the menu. When there is an incoming, your music will be muted and a ring-tone will be heard through your speakers. Once you've answered the call, you can use the front-panel microphone to talk into and the other party will be heard through your speakers. You'll still need to use your phone to make calls, since the unit does not support this feature. Once you've made the call from your phone, it will automatically switch over to the SoundExtreme head unit and its built-in microphone.

Aux Input: The Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) is outfitted with a rear-mounted, stereo RCA auxiliary input on a 10" harness so you can connect an external audio source. An RCA-to-Minijack cable (sold separately) will be required for the connection of a portable audio player with a headphone jack output. You can adjust the Aux Input Gain (+/-9dB) to better match the volume level of the other sources.

AM/FM Radio: The Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) features a built-in AM/FM tuner with auto, manual, and preset tuning. You can store up to 20 AM and 20 FM preset stations. The built-in AM/FM tuner can be set to North America or European tuning.

3 Zone Audio: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) offers 3 Zones of audio (2 wired and 1 wireless). The 2 wired Zones (Zone 1 and Zone 2) can be configured from the head units' built-in 4-channel amplifier and/or the unit's 5-channel preouts along with external power amplifiers and speakers. The wireless Zone (Zone 3) utilizes Sound Extreme's EcoCast Technology to wirelessly transmit audio via Bluetooth to multiple EcoCast enabled speakers. You can change each Zone's volume independently or together. However, the same source will be played back in each zone. You can also give each Zone a customized name.

• 4-Channel Amplifier: The marine head unit features a built-in 25 watt (RMS) / 50 watt (Peak) x 4 channel amplifier to power a pair of speakers in Zone 1 and another pair of speakers in Zone 2.
• 5-Channel Preouts: The marine digital media receiver is also equipped with 5ch/2V preouts consisting of a Zone 1 stereo preout, Zone 2 stereo preout, and mono-RCA Sub preout to connect external power amplifiers, powered speakers, and powered sub. The mono-RCA Sub preout is assigned to Zone 1.
• EcoCast Technology: EcoCast Technology allows the unit to transmit or receive audio streams to and from other EcoCast-enabled products - including EcoXgear and SoundExtreme soundbars, tower speakers, portable and battery powered party speakers (all sold separately). You'll be able to wirelessly stream the unit's Bluetooth music, AM/FM radio and AUX input to a variety of EcoCast enabled speakers. You'll also be able to wirelessly receive audio from an EcoCast enable speaker and play it through the Marine Gauge radio. EcoCast Technology utilizes Bluetooth for wireless streaming. EcoCast Technology has a wireless Bluetooth range of up to 30' (9m).

Audio Adjustments: The Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) offers a variety of audio adjustments to configure and tailer your sound.

• 3-Band EQ: The unit features a built-in 3-Band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble). Each one can be adjusted independently from -15 to +15dB to fine-tune your sound.
• Volume Limiter: Zone 1 and Zone 2 each have a Volume Limiter setting, where you can adjust the maximum volume for each Zone's output.
• Subwoofer Controls: The unit's mono subwoofer preout offers a dedicated low-pass crossover filter (55/85/120/160 Hz) and independent level control to blend the subwoofer sound with the rest of your speaker system.

Control Options: The SoundExtreme Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) offers front-panel and remote control, as well as supports the SoundExtreme App (for Apple iOS and Android OS).

• Front-Panel: Front-panel controls consist of a 3-way rotary knob and 8 push-button controls that operate a variety of audio and lighting functions.
• RF Remote: The Marine Gauge Radio comes with a 31-button RF remote control to wirelessly operate audio and lighting functions. The remote comes already paired with the radio.

4 Zone LED Controller: The Marine Gauge Radio (SEI-SEMRNGGE) has a built-in 4-Zone LED light controller for LEDCast speakers, strips, and whips (all sold separately). You can create up to 4 separate LED zones and change the zones independently or at the same time. Simply connect your LEDCast speakers, strips, and whips to the unit's proprietary LEDCast cable connectors. The LED lights driven by the integrated controller provide millions of colors options - solid colors, fading, jumping, chasing, speed, and variable brightness. The 4 Zone LED Controller can be operated from the head unit's menu, RF remote, and SoundExtreme App on your compatible Apple iOS or Android OS device.

• Color Mode: Each Color Mode lights up the LEDs in a solid color. There are 8 Color Buttons on the included RF remote - Red, Green, Blue, White, Orange, Yellow, Cyan, and Purple. You can create a custom color by utilizing the SoundExtreme Smartphone App.
• Party Mode: There are 20 preset Party Modes accessible via the head unit's menu, the RF remote, and the SoundExtreme Smartphone App. The app allows you to customize each of the 20 Party Modes, allowing for nearly unlimited color, cascading, and LED chasing options.
• Music Mode: There are 16 Music Modes accessible via the radio's, the RF remote, and the SoundExtreme Smartphone App.

SoundExtreme App: With the free SoundExtreme App (for Apple iOS and Android OS) you can customize your LEDCast light's colors, speed, brightness, music sync, and LED chasing. You can even create custom Scenes to change all Zones at once. The unit supports 6 lighting Scenes. Scenes 1-5 are user customizable and programmable. The 6th scene (Street Mode) is for special use and cannot be modified. Your compatible Apple iOS or Android OS device running the SoundExtreme app will wirelessly communicate with the Marine Gauge Radio via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).

• Scene 1: Patriot 1 for all 4 Zones (Red, White, and Blue).
• Scene 2: Flowing colors for all 4 Zones.
• Scene 3: Zoom for all 4 Zones.
• Scene 4: Fading colors for all 4 Zones.
• Scene 5: Christmas for all 4 Zones (Red, Green, and White).
• Scene 6: Street Mode turns all LED lights off but, keeps the built-in controller powered on so Zones 3 and 4 will still function as enhanced brake, reverse, and turn signal lights. *Requires additional wiring.
