Tower Speakers: The SoundExtreme Extreme 8" Tower Speakers (SEI-ETAMPBAT7701) feature an 8" 2-way driver mounted in a sealed enclosure that's designed for the marine environment. The tower speakers support both Bluetooth and FM audio playback. Each powered speaker includes a rechargeable battery pack, for playback without a connected power source, and built-in RGB LED lighting that can illuminate the woofer cones.

Two-Way Design: The SoundExtreme tower speakers come loaded with a 1.5" titanium dome tweeter that's bridge-mounted over an 8" all-weather woofer. The woofer features a UV-protected cone made with a polypropylene/carbon fiber blend and a Santoprene rubber surround.

Powered Speakers: The two SoundExtreme tower speakers each feature built-in 100W RMS (300W peak) amplifiers. The two speakers feature both Deutsch and Aviation jacks, allowing for two types of power and ground connections. Each harness includes wires for power, ground, and remote turn-on connections to the vehicle, providing power when not running the speakers on the included batteries. The power and ground connection also allows the battery packs to recharge while 12V vehicle power is available.

• Deutsch Connector: Two 8' A2 connection cable with a 6-pin Deutsch connector on one end and bare-ended wires on the other end provides a quick and easy connection method where the wire will be run on the outside of the tower/roll cage tubing.
• Aviation Connector: Two Aviation cables are also included with Aviation connectors on one end and bare-ended wire on the other end. This lets you run the wire through the mounting clamps and the tower/roll cage tubing.

Power: The SoundExtreme Extreme 8" Tower Speakers feature two methods for powering them:

• Rechargeable Battery Pack: The amplified speaker features a removable back cover that lets you dock the included Li-ion battery for powering both speakers. The battery pack can be recharged while in the speaker, as long as the speaker is also connected to the vehicle's 12V electrical system, or using the included battery charger with AC power supply. If the vehicle is turned off and the tower speakers are playing, they will only draw power from the rechargeable battery, so as to not drain the vehicle battery. The included rechargeable battery packs can provide up to 14 hours of playback at maximum volume and up to 40 hours at 70% volume.
• Vehicle Power: The amplified speaker can be powered from the vehicle's 12V battery using the included 10.5' power & ground harness. A remote turn-on wire on the speaker harness gets connected to an aftermarket radio's remote output, or connected to a switched power source in the vehicle. A Power Mode switch on the amplified speaker lets you select how the speakers are activated.
  • Power: When the switch is set to On, the speakers will be powered on until manually powered off.
  • Standby: When the switch is set to Standby, the speakers will be powered on/off with the remote turn-on wire.

Audio Sources: The SoundExtreme Extreme 8" Tower Speakers features two input sources:

• Bluetooth: Built-in Bluetooth 5.1 technology lets you pair your Bluetooth device for audio streaming, as well as for taking hands-free phone calls.
• FM Tuner: A built-in FM tuner lets you listen to the FM radio stations. Station tuning can be done using the controls on the amplified speaker or with the included hand-held RF remote control. Three Preset buttons on the amplified speaker and remote control let you save your favorite stations. The FM tuner uses the speaker's built-in antenna, but a Motorola-style antenna jack is provided for using an optional vehicle antenna (sold separately). An FM Antenna rocker-switch on the amplified speaker lets you switch between using the internal antenna and an external one.

SoundExtreme App: The SoundExtreme Extreme 8" Tower Speaker can be operated from a Bluetooth-connected device using the SoundExtreme App, available Apple and Android devices. Using the app, you can control the built-in dome light on the amplified speaker, control the RGB LED lighting on the speakers, as well as setting up and accessing RGB LED lighting Zones, Modes, and Scenes.

RGB LEDs: The SoundExtreme speakers feature RGB LED lighting integrated into the enclosure, allowing the speaker cone to be illuminated. The RGB lighting for each speaker can be controlled by the two included RF remote controls or through the SoundExtreme App on a Bluetooth-connected smartphone. RGB Lighting control includes Zones, Modes, and Scenes.

• Zone: An integrated LED lighting controller in the amplified speaker supports 2 Zones:
  • Zone 1: Applies to the RGB lighting behind the speaker cones.
  • Zone 2: Applies to the built-in Dome Light on the bottom of the amplified speaker.
• Mode: The RGB LED lighting features 44 LED Modes divided into 3 categories, all accessible from the RF remote control or using the SoundExtreme app.
  • Color Mode: Eight Color Modes can light the LEDs a solid color using 8 corresponding buttons on the remote control: Red, Green, Blue, White, Orange, Yellow, Cyan, and Purple. Using the SoundExtreme app, you can create custom colors.
  • Party Mode: There are 20 preset Party Modes accessible through the remote control or the SoundExtreme app. The app lets you customize each Party Mode, allowing for nearly unlimited color, cascading, and LED chasing options.
  • Music Mode: 16 Music Modes can be accessed, letting the LED lighting follow your music.
• Scene: Five customizable Scenes (or presets) can be configured and saved via the SoundExtreme app, for 1-button recall of your favorite options from either the app or the RF remote control. The default Scene settings are: Patriot 1, Flowing Colors, Zoom, Fading Colors, and Christmas.

Speaker Controls: Operation of each SoundExtreme Tower Speaker can done from their integrated control panels. Weather-proof rubber buttons are provided for Power, Bluetooth (pairing), Volume Up/Down, Fwd & Back Arrows, Play/Pause, Domelight activation, and Party Mode. L and R buttons let you assign each speaker as the left channel, right channel, or for mixed mono signal through both.

Dome Light: A built-in dome light on the bottom of the amplified speaker can help light your way around the speakers. Three Brightness levels are available on the control panel and RF remote control, while the SoundExtreme app provides a slide-bar brightness adjustment.

EcoCast: The SoundExtreme Extreme 8" Tower Speakers feature EcoCast technology, letting you increase the size of the party by connecting multiple EcoCast-equipped speakers (up to 50) to one SoundExtreme EcoCast speaker. The playback speaker can then broadcast its audio to the other speakers, with a range of up to 30 feet. Two EcoCast modes can be selected from the control panel or the SoundExtreme app: EcoCast Transmitter and EcoCast Receiver.

Mounting: The SoundExtreme speakers are designed to be mounted to wake tower or roll cage tubing ranging from 1.5" to 3.0" in diameter. Mounting clamps are included that provide up to 360° of rotation for optimal speaker aiming, and include rubber shims for a secure fit.
