Overview: The SoundExtreme ExtremeWhip 2 ft. is a whip-style LED light rod that's designed to be mounted on UTV/ATVs and off-road vehicles. The 0.85" diameter light rod is comprised of a spiral-wound RGB LED strip that's protected by a durable clear outer coating. It also features a magnetic base that bolts onto your vehicle body using a built-in 1.35" x 0.50" threaded bolt. A 1/2" (0.50") hole will need to be drilled into the body panel for installation. A stainless steel nut, washer, and lock-washer are provided for securing the bolt through the mounting surface. The magnetic base allows the 2' LED light to be seated and removed with no tools required, while still providing a solid hold on the light rod. A 10" 3-pin input cable built into the base provides the connection to the included 10' extension cable for connecting to a SoundExtreme LED Controller (sold separately). The LED light rod includes an attached orange 13" x 9" SoundExtreme flag that's held in place by snap-hooks, making it easy to remove and reinstall.

Waterproof: The 2' Whip LED light carries an IP66 waterproof rating for outdoor use.

4-Zone RGB LED Controller (sold separately): The SoundExtreme ExtremeWhip 2 ft. requires a SoundExteme 4-Zone RGB LED Controller for operation, which is sold separately. The 4-zone controller lets you operate the light rod from your smartphone using the SoundExtreme App (available for Apple and Android devices) or the hand-held RF remote control that's included with the controller. The controller lets you connect and control up to four independent zones of SoundExtreme LED whips, light strips, and rock lights (all sold separately). RGB Lighting control includes Zones, Modes, and Scenes.

• Zones: Four Zone outputs provide independent RGB LED lighting connections, each providing independent or common LED functions. Zones 3 & 4 can be used in conjunction with the optional Vehicle Signal input wires, lettting your Reverse, Brake, and Turn Signals control any SoundExtreme LED lighting connected to those two output zones.
• Mode: The RGB LED lighting features 44 LED Modes divided into 3 categories, all accessible from the RF remote control or using the SoundExtreme app.
  • Color Mode: Eight Color Modes can light the LEDs a solid color using 8 corresponding buttons on the remote control: Red, Green, Blue, White, Orange, Yellow, Cyan, and Purple. Using the SoundExtreme app, you can create custom colors.
  • Party Mode: There are 20 preset Party Modes accessible through the remote control or the SoundExtreme app. The app lets you customize each Party Mode, allowing for nearly unlimited color, cascading, and LED chasing options.
  • Music Mode: 16 Music Modes can be accessed, letting the LED lighting sync to your music. In order to use the music sync function, the Extreme LED Controller must be wirelessly connected to an EcoCast-enabled ECOXGEAR or SoundExtreme soundbar or powered speaker system (both sold separately).
• Scene: Five customizable Scenes (or presets) can be configured and saved via the SoundExtreme app, for 1-button recall of your favorite options from either the app or the RF remote control. A 6th non-editable Scene is available. The default Scene settings include:
  • Scene 1: Orange for all Zones
  • Scene 2: Flowing colors for all Zones
  • Scene 3: Patriot 1 for all Zones
  • Scene 4: Fading colors for all Zones
  • Scene 5: Christmas for all Zones
  • Scene 6 (Street Mode): This mode turns off all the LED lights, but keeps the controller powered on so Zones 3 & 4 still function as enhanced brake, reverse, and turn signals.
