Pairing was and is simple. You place them where you want them. I purchased these for my daughter's house. She was trying to figure out how to play music in certain rooms for a Christmas Eve party. I solved it. A Christmas Eve noon present. She will be buying a few more soon. She is also getting the outdoor speakers. It is just too simple. ?? Sound real nice, convenient , easy, good looking, great Crutchfield service. Get them!

Great sound that really fills the room.

Cons: Sonos app appears to be easy to use, but it was not clear how to do a Blue Tooth link from my phone to all 3 speakers. It took many different tries before I figured out that the proper sequencing required first linking just one speaker to my phone, then turning on the Sonos app, then starting music playback (to one speaker), and then going back to Sonos to activate the other 2 speakers. This 4 step process is a pain but the speakers do sound great!
