App is still not great

I would've bought this set earlier but the app debacle delayed that. I waited nearly a year to make sure Sonos fixed the mess they created and somehow it still needs work. Setting up the soundbar did not go smoothly, the app wouldn't recognize it, then it did after a hard reset. It then updated and after waiting 5+minutes for it to connect to my Wi-Fi it threw an error saying the soundbar was added to my system but wouldn't be visible...I reset everything and started over and finally got it to work. For a nearly $2000 soundbar the software really needs to be improved.

Worth the change

I would give 5 stars if I have not been invested in Amazon Alexa devices in every room. Or put another way if Sonos and Amazon Echo's worked together for Multi-Room sound that would be great also. My purchase is a happy one, Crutchfield was extremely helpful and this recommendation was the right one. The new Arc Ultra and new sub 4 is much better than the last models, several friends have the older lineup. Now my 4 star rating is because I have listed my Amazon Echo's on facebook marketplace and I plan on spending a few $1000 more on some era3's and maybe a few 5's. Yes the sound is that nice. I also love the wireless option b/c I plan on selling our house in a few years so I can take this with me vs. have cabling and inwalls put in.

Sonos Premium Entertainment Set with Arc Ultra

Sounds very good, The base is amazing. I found the app a little confusing but you get the hang of it. Son's is working on improving some aspects of the app. To set up a wired system you must first get it up as wireless. The app won't let you set up a wired system initially.
