Amazing addition to the wife's factory system

2021 Ford Explorer
Just what the wife wanted. It adds a good bit of bass to a factory system. Installed this into a 2021 Explorer with factory B&O system with factory sub. We could not be more pleased. No trunk room taken up and sounds amazing!!!

I was quite skeptical at first to be honest with you. I didn't really think this thing would be very loud, boy was I wrong. I'm going to be talking about everything I like and dislike about this. All the things I like and dislike about it are in the pros and cons. Now here's some tips and notes I have. 1. You might need to cut down the M8 Thread to size. The thread only comes in one size, which I mean I guess its better for it to be too long than too short. 2. (Assuming you have a sealed trunk area) This sub really benefits from having a seat down to really make this thing loud. 3. You have to really tighten this thing down onto your spare tire. If not it will make a horrible noise from shaking.
Pros: 1. The install is very easy and should take you less than an a couple hours. 2. (Assuming the sub fits) You'll get all of your cargo space in your trunk. 3. This thing gets plenty loud. This isn't something that's gonna make people tap out or nothing, but it certainly got wild reactions from people listening. It'll shake your mirrors, and you'll feel it in your chest. 4. The 20-60hz lows sound freaking amazing. I've never heard such clean low notes in my life. 5. It's a very tight
Cons: 1. The black plastic shrouding/frame around the amplifier feels like it's gonna break every time you try to take it off. 2. The subwoofer is a little bit taller than competitors so it might not fit in your vehicle. It just barely fit mine. (2021 Honda Civic) 3. The wiring harness coming out of the sub should be a little bit longer.

Amazing! Had my doubts however I highly recommend this product. Amazing sound and very high quality.
Pros: Everything.
Cons: For my ford explorer the included mounting post was wrong size, however this was easily overcome. Ford explorer has a M10 stock post and this kit included a M8 post.

Did not buy from Crutchfield but if you have a spare tire compartment and don't want to sacrifice your storage you cannot beat this. I have the sub and amp combo and it is awesome! I used to have a double 10" sub box from kicker and this thing sounds so much better. I listen to metal like Lorna shore and this thing keeps up just fine. With the amp it is plenty loud. I highly highly recommend you get some of the sound dampener, even if it is cheap stuff, this sub made everything rattle cause it was powerful.
Pros: Don't need to fight for space. Powerful. Sounds clean. Good with metal.
Cons: You probably will want some padding or dampeners to make your spare tire not rattle.

Not great

Bought this package with high hopes. Was immediately disappointed with the results. Had professionally installed. Could not close the trunk deck. Had to un-mount and slide forward so that I could close the deck all the way. Sound is meh, only slightly better than factory. Currently looking for other options.
Pros: Can't think of any
Cons: Expensive, doesn't sound great, doesn't fit in mk8 golf.

Awesome package! Installed into a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible. Since space is at a premium in a convertible, this was a great option. Bass hits HARD! ???? I mounted the subwoofer where the optional full size spare would go, and installed the amps/amp rack where the spare tire was hidden in the right rear wheel well. JBL always delivers, and this setup exceeded my expectations BY FAR!
Pros: Space saving, 600 watts, small footprint amp.
