System Overview: The Furrion eRove Off-Grid Camping Pack includes a Furrion eRove Electric Cooler along with a Furrion ePod Battery rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and a Furrion Wheel Kit for easy transportation.

Electric Cooler

Cooler Overview: The Furrion eRove Electric Cooler is a high-tech solution to keeping food and drinks cold while enjoying the outdoors. The eRove Electric Cooler features a durable outer shell with 3" thick polyurethane foam insulation in the walls and high-pressure injected foam in the lid. This allows the eRove Electric Cooler to retain ice for up to 5 days without power. Its 49 quart (46.1L) cold storage compartment can hold up to 72-12 oz. cans, and maintain an internal temperature ranging from -8˚F to 50˚F. A smaller dry compartment provides approximately 321 cu. in. of non-refrigerated space.

Power: The eRove Electric Cooler can be powered using the included AC power supply (14.5VDC/6A output), or the included 8' lighter adapter cable for powering it from a vehicle power outlet or lighter socket.

• Battery Power: The eRove Electric Cooler can also be powered with the included Furrion ePod Battery. A compartment in the eRove cooler can accommodate the 400Wh rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, allowing it to power the cooler as well as be recharged when the cooler is plugged into an external power source.
   
  • Note: A protective contact-cover in the bottom of the battery compartment must be removed before inserting an ePod Battery. Two provided screw-hole plugs can be inserted after the cover is removed.
     
• Solar Power (Optional): A dedicated port on the eRove Electric Cooler lets you plug in an optional Furrion 100W Solar Panel (sold separately) for powering the cooler and recharging the ePod Battery.
   
  • Note: The 100W Solar Panel can only be used if the ePod Battery is installed in the cooler.

Cooling: A convenient control panel on the eRove Electric Cooler lets you power the cooler On/Off, adjust the temperature, and select the operating Mode, all of which will be displayed in a large, easy-to-read LCD display. The LCD display will also show a battery power-level indicator if using an optional ePod Battery. Pressing the Mode button will cycle through the available modes:

• Beverage: This setting automatically sets the internal temperature to 43˚F for cooling food and beverages (temperature not adjustable).
• Freezer: Automatically sets the internal temperature to 7˚F for frozen products (temperature not adjustable).
• ECO: This setting is used to conserve power and sets the temperature at 46˚F (non-adjustable).
• Deep-ECO: This Mode is used to extend the battery run-time when using an optional ePod Battery. When in this mode, only the Temperature + and -, and ˚F/C (Fahrenheit/Celsius) buttons will be active and USB/wireless charging will be disabled. The temperature can be adjusted from 30˚F to 46˚F with 46˚F being the default temperature.
• Manual: Lets you manually adjust the temperature between -8˚F and 50˚F.
• USB: This mode allows for USB and wireless charging through the provided locations, with the cooling function disabled. Battery charging is still available in this mode.

Convenience Features & Accessories: The eRove Electric Cooler includes multiple amenities for making life easier while enjoying the outdoors, including:

• Accessory Rails: Accessory Rails along each side of the cooler are provided for multi-use. They can be used with tie-down straps (not included) when transporting the cooler, as well as for holding the included rail accessories. Each item can be placed anywhere along either side rail.
  • Dual Cup Holder: Two 3" diameter cup openings can accommodate cans, water bottles, or other 12 oz. beverages.
  • Umbrella Holder: An Umbrella Holder features a 2" diameter hole that can accommodate a beach umbrella, flag, or fishing pole.
• Bottle Opener: The electric cooler includes a built-in bottle opener that's attached to one side rail.
• LED Lighting: The refrigerated compartment on the electric cooler feature two built-in LED lights that will automatically illuminate when the compartment door is opened while the cooler is powered on. Two additional LED lights in the battery compartment door will also illuminate when opened if the ePod Battery is inserted.
• Serving Tray & Basket: A removable translucent basket is provided for holding small items inside the refrigerated compartment. A convenient fold-out tray, that stores in the cooler lid, can be placed on the extendable pull-handle providing a flat surface and 3 cup holders.
• USB Charging: Three USB ports are provided on the control panel for charging USB devices. Two ports can provide a 2A output while the third can provide a 3A output.
• Wireless Charging: A rubberized Wireless Charging pad on top of the cooler lets you wirelessly charge compatible devices.
• Carry Handles: The eRove Electric Cooler features a built-in carry-handle (non-extendable) on the front and an extendable handle on the rear. When used with the Wheel Kit, the extendable handle makes toting the cooler easy.

Rechargeable Battery

Overview: The Furrion ePod Battery is a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery designed for use with the included eRove Electric Cooler. The battery features a rugged aluminum outer casing and an ergonomic handle with built-in charge/status indicator LEDs.

Charge Level: The ePod Battery features a 4-segment battery indicator built into the carry-handle. When the handle is grabbed, the indicator will automatically light for 10 seconds, displaying the current charge-level. Five charge levels are provided based on how many segments are lit:

• 4 Segments: 91-100%
• 3 Segments: 76-90%
• 2 Segments: 51-75%
• 1 Segment: 26-50%
• 1 Segment Flashing: Less than 25%

Protection: The ePod Battery features built-in protection circuits for the following faults: Over Charge, Short Circuit, Over Discharge, Over Current, and Automatic Power Cut Off when the battery charge is too low.

Wheel Kit

Wheel Kit Overview: The Furrion Wheel Kit is designed specifically for attaching and transporting your Furrion eRove Electric Cooler. The heavy-duty wheel kit features 4 mounting latches that secure the bottom of the cooler to the cart, keeping it from sliding off while transporting. Quick-releases on each latch let you easily detach the cooler. Durable wheels with rubber tread provide a positive grip on any surface while helping cushion the cooler from bumps.

Cooler Mounting: The Furrion Wheel Kit can also be used to mount the eRove cooler to an RV floor or slide-out platform for easy access and transportation. The Wheel Kit base features mounting holes that allow it to be screwed down to a flat surface (hardware not included) after removing the wheels and feet. The cooler can then be quickly attached and detached from the mounting base using the quick-release latches. This handy feature works well with RV slide-out platforms, letting you keep the cooler attached to the base while providing easy access to its contents.

Note: If mounting the Wheel Kit base, tie-down straps should be used to properly secure the cooler during transportation and are sold separately.
