Perfect Sound Forever?
Jonathan from Chantilly, VA on 2/7/2025
Massive package and dense sound. Dense package and massive sound. Placed vertically on mated stands, 30" from back wall, 7° toe-in driven by my trusty CM-1090 integrated amp. Touch off the treble, a little bass boost and Carver's hologram makes everything sound magnificent. Worth every penny.
Pros: Deep and breezy stage. Punch depends on proper placement. Really addictive. Confidence inspiring.

MoFi Electronics SourcePoint 10
David from Taneytown , MD on 7/27/2024
Superb quickness, full bass, easy load. I was originally going to get the Falcon Acoustics version of the classic LS3/5a speaker, but I'm glad I bought this instead. As a bonus, I didn't have to go places to hear the speaker - I bought it online without leaving my home - a definite plus.

Concentric Timelessness
John from MARQUETTE, MI on 6/23/2024
Almost 15 years after Dr. Earl Geddes built me a custom pair of speakers ("Nathans"), I finally arrived at a worthy successor. Pin-point imaging, linear in-room response, excellent directivity, punchy dynamics, uncompressed playback at high SPL and BEAUTIFUL furniture-like appearance. My wife and I are mid-century aficionados and these reminds us of the hi-fi speakers of years gone by but with a modern flare. I'm driving the SourcePoint 10s with my Buckeye Amps Purifi 1ET-400. But they also run fine on my Yamaha RX-A1080 165 Wpc receiver as well. Easy to drive and a joy to witness. I listen to mostly old-school swing jazz and classical with some folk and country included at times. FYI, the ERB-smoothed graph includes my 3 subwoofers (crossed over at 100 hz) scattered throughout the room. Also, the speaker stands are bespoke pieces from Thailand I found years ago.
Pros: Imaging, staging, linearity, off-axis performance, punchiness, high sensitivity, appearance
Cons: Size (doesn't bother me or my wife, though)? You will need capable stands if you opt not to get the bundled ones.

I withheld one star.only because there are probably better but for a much higher price. These are truly excelent. The clarity is apparent even in a room and hallway away.el34 in wilsenton r8

Unique and impressive
Charlie from Charlottesville on 5/8/2023
I was completely blown away by MoFi's SourcePoint 10 speakers at the high-end audio show in DC, so I jumped at the chance to borrow some from our lending library, curious to see how they'd fare in a real-world listening situation. I turned on the reggae channel on my TV and let it play through the Mo-Fi speakers at low volume for three days to make sure they were broken in. On the fourth day, I cranked up some Buddy Guy, and there was that amazing sound I heard at the show. The one word that comes to my mind is "unique." They don't look like any other speakers and, to my ears, they don't sound like any other speakers. The soundstage is extremely wide, with each instrument delineated precisely in its own space. Every recording sounds a little different than what you're used to from more traditional speakers, but in a great way. The low end is very well-balanced and defined, even when the speakers were placed close to the wall in my bass-heavy basement. But the striking thing is the midrange detail. Drums really sound like drums, and guitars are spelled out to the "nth" degree - it's not just that Jimi Hendrix is playing a Stratocaster, it's that he's clearly playing a Strat through a Marshall amp. Listening to familiar recordings, I heard instrumental nuances I'd never heard before in decades of listening, even through my really nice floorstanding speakers. I never got tired of listening to these speakers. Seriously impressed!
Pros: Extreme clarity and powerful impact. I heard new things in recordings I've listened to hundreds and hundreds of times.
Cons: They take a while to break in and they are sensitive to placement, not exactly cons but worth noting.

Big and beautiful sound
Ryan from Phoenix, AZ on 1/1/2023
I've always wanted big speaker sound from something I could put in my bedroom. These deliver. They're still very large speakers, but manageable in the right space. My main concern was that I was going to have to put these very close to the wall and I'm happy that hasn't made them sound boomy. The bass from these speakers is very clean and tight, and very little exits the ports on the rear thanks to the internal structure and damping. I upgraded from the KEF R3 to these and there's a noticeable difference in sound. The best way I can describe it is that everything feels more complete. That said I'm still running my subwoofer for the low end, these do not replace a sub. I've found if you're running these in a smaller space you can toe them directly in to the listening position for pinpoint accuracy or focus them behind your listening position for a much larger sweet spot and wider soundstage. I prefer running the latter. The gear I'm powering these with is a Rotel RC-1590MKII Pre with RB-1582MKII Power, Bluesound Node 2 streamer, and Martin Logan Sub.
Pros: Airy sound, tight bass, amazing vocals.
Cons: Heavy, large, lack of stand options.
