I purchased the DragonTail to make the connection between my iFi amp and iPhone 14 easier to maneuver. Great quality but it's a little on the expensive side.

Connections are tight, quality of the connector material is premium. Keeps your laptop USB port and Dragonfly from breaking off or bending.

Great Accessory

Nice little accessory to help protect your DragonFly DAC. I would hate to accidentally bump my DAC with it plugged directly into a device. The DragonTail will help prevent damage to the DAC. Very glad to have.

Purchased the DragonTail to move the DragonFly Black away from the laptop USB port to make my wireless mouse easier to manuever. In addition, I hope it prevents any damage to the Dragonfly Black connection should it get bumped while plugged into the USB port (or damage to the port). Handling the DragonFly Black when plugging/unpluging headphones allows some flexibility of movement with the DragonFly tail in the USB port.

I bought the JVC KD-R690S to upgrade the factory radio in my '96 F150 on my daughter's advice.It came with an installation kit(free) and I purchased the Ready Harness to simplify the task of installing it myself.It arrived in two days as promised.I went on line and found a video that showed me the process,and in about 30 minutes it was playing music.My old speakers never sounded so good.Turns out my old truck has a Bose sound system.It really is plug and play with this equipment.
Pros: Good volume and bass. Easy install(just look at the diagram)even if you can't read,it shows you step by step how to do it. Or go to You Tube.
Cons: Wait until sundown to install.Hard to see the display without those Tac Glasses that are "not available in stores"when the sun is shining.

You really can't go wrong with AudioQuest. All of their products are high quality products; that will last too. The Dragon Tail is just the right length with nice, snug fitting connectors.

Protect your DAC!

I owned the DragonFly a while before purchasing the USB extender. Whenever I'd lean back in my seat, my headphones cord would pull the DragonFly. I've broken too many USB flash drives to let the same happen to my DAC. The extender gives a little more length and ensures I won't damage the DragonFly.

The Audioquest Dragontail was just what I needed to optimize my desktop audio setup. I use it in conjunction with the Dragonfly v1.2, Jitterbug, and Schiit Magni 2 headphone amp. Everyone's setup is different, but the Dragontail turned out to be the perfect fit for my needs. The product is high quality and provides good strain relief for the computer's usb port.

This is just a handy little extension for the Dragonfly.

Basically does what it is supposed to. When using the dragonfly dac on my computer it kind of felt like it was taxing on the usb port. Adding this seemed to give it more slack and put less stress on the port. I have a desktop, and i can see how this could help even more on a laptop with safety and durability.
