Preferred Green Color Cable

I have purchased the AudioQuest Evergreen 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable(s) to connect the Pre-out Amplifier/Receiver to External Amplifier and External Amplifier to Subwoofers as Trigger-cables. (I like the quality of the cable and overall; I like the green color)

This is pretty pricey for an aux cable but I wanted to buy a higher quality cable to connect my Sony HT-A7000 sound bar to my Sony BRAVIA XR-77A80K television so I can use the TV speaker as a center channel. There's a noticeable hissing sound from the TV and unfortunately this cable didn't make the hissing sound go away. I later found out the problem lies with the TV, not the sound bar or aux cable. It's a known problem with Sony TVs when the speakers are used as a center channel and the only fix is the replace the TV's motherboard. This cable operated fine so far and looks to be well constructed. The braided jacket looks durable as well. It's a high quality cable.

Audioquest Ecergreen 3.5 to 3.5 3m aux cable

Using this to replace the shorter cable that came with my Aiwa arc-1 headphones aux to aux and connected to my dropstation vinyl capture station. Beautiful Soundstage using this cable and the 10' length let's me kick back an melt into my easy chair. The cable is a little stiff but that shows me that there's more copper here then what I had and it's well shielded. The connectors have a solid snug fit and are recessed to fit cell phone cases. Take note of the arrow on the connector. They should be plugged in in the direction of the equipment input. In my case the Arrows go towards the headphones. I highly recommend this cable.

AudioQuest is a trusted product

There's not much to say about an audio cable s long as it connects point A to point B without adding any noise into the chain - the construction is solid and I would be hard pressed to know if the audio quality would improve by upgrading to a more expensive AudioQuest cable. Coming out of a Imac into a powered KEF speaker is not the most critical listening experience but I do feel the Evergreen cable fits the application. There are much cheaper mini cables out there as well as much more expensive ones but for me AudioQuest is a trusted product.

Noticeable improvements for a very reasonable

Upgraded to these from standard (cheapo for iPhone) 3.5mm audio cable on my Astell&Kern SE100 and B&O H8s. The improvements were immediately obvious in all dimensions: cleaner bass, nicer imaging, better separation among instruments and a more pleasant, less harsh, high end. Nothing outrageous, just nicely balanced overall improvements. Perhaps more costly cables might have done even better, but these have been a very nice improvement for a most reasonable price. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Not cheap but very nice quality

One of my preamps has a mini jack input but does not have Bluetooth. If I want maximum fidelity I have stand alone dacs for that but there are times I like to be able to listen to files off my phone and wanted a high quality mini jack cable for that. It's surprising how good some of the dacs in phones are getting and this cable directly into my preamp exceeds my expectations for sounding good. It also has the slight extension where the plug meets the jacket so that even with my silicone case on my phone it will fully insert into the jack. My previous cable I was using forced me to take the case off each time since it would not fully plug in with the case on. I also like the flexibility of the cable. It uses a weave jacket but for me anyway has just the right amount of flexibility to it. I've used this cable for several months now and haven't noticed any fraying unlike some other brands that used a weave jacket. As mentioned I'm very impressed with the sound quality and find the overall clarity of the bass to the highs better than the cheaper cable it replaced. Not cheap but very nice quality.

Definite Upgrade!

Excellent build quality. Functions as would be expected. Definitely worth the extra money over "typical" lower end wires. If you will use your audio cable frequently and don't want to spend significant $$$ on audiophile wires, this provides a very happy medium that should last through heavy use...

Amazing Clarity

mini cable not yet tested

The ordering process was simple and fast. First purchase from Crutchfield and I'm very pleased. I won't get to test this cord out for several months though. Purchased it knowing that I needed it in the future. Sorry, no feedback there. I should say that it looks and feels to be high quality and nicely made.

This cable for MP3 players did give a fuller, wider sound field when compared to my generic cable. It is used to connect an iPhone to my Cambridge Audio integrated amp.The difference was more noticeable after about ten hours of usage.

clearer sound

Noticed an improvement over the belkin cable. Seems very well built and with quality material. 4 stars because I think it's overpriced, and those costing more than this is just ridiculous. Just like hdmi cables costing hundreds when monoprice sells them for $5 with a difference that can't be seen or heard to those 10x the price.

AudioQuest Forest

I use these cables to burn in my speakers from my portable radio/Mp3 player. I don't like keeping my iMac on all night and day to burn in audio gear. The audio quest forest did a perfect job. Excellent shielding. Great quality. The sound is a dynamic, smooth copper tone.

Extremely well made, but...

Extremely well made. However, the marketing hype about "the direction of the signal" is not backed up my any rigorous lab tests that I could find. Listening tests are notorously inaccuate. There is probably a big price premium for this "feature" of dubious value.

A.Q. Evergreen I.C.'s Exemplify now Audio standards

Getting used to its stiffness, but it sounds wonderful

Recently bought a pair of Sony Bluetooth/noise cancelling headphones with a detachable 1/8" cord. Thought the cord had developed a short prematurely, so bought this cable to replace it. Turns out that cord wasn't the one with the short, but who cares. Better sound, PHENOMENAL sound, when using with my iPod at work. I'll attribute part to the Audioquest cable and part to the noise-reduction which negates call center noise all around me.

Usaba un cable común y decidí comprar algo mejor y créanme la diferencia es del cielo a la tierra. La musica se escucha mucho mas clara y se siente con más potencia. Definitivamente Audio Quest son unos de los mejores más que Moster Cable créanme. I was using a regular cable and decided on buying something better and believe the difference is astounding. I hear the music with more clarity and power. Audioquest is definitely one of the best, better than Monster cables believe me.

Very well made and substantial product. I am using it between an iMAC and a pair of PSB PS1 speakers. Without the ability to perform a rapid A/B comparison test I cannot say definitively that this cable improves the sound.

Nice sound improvemet over my standard cable!

Some people would call me crazy for spending $29 on a cable to hook up my Samsung Galaxy S3 or my I-Pad Mini to my Jawbone Jambox.. I mean the standard cable that comes with the Jambox does what it's supposed to. But after owning a FoxL Platinum speaker which comes with this cable, I had to have another one! This new cable brings to my ears a broader sound spectrum. Everything is cleaner & richer than it was before. It certainly isn't their top of the line, but this is a nice step up for sure! For the better sound, the price is well worth it to me. I give the cable 5 stars, however there is 1 downfall if you use an OtterBox Defender Series case.......
