Trustworthy!

Delivers what it claims to offer. This AudioQuest cable replaced a so-called high speed, 4K-8K cable from another manufacturer that actually didn't pass a 4K signal from my cable provider. Once the AudioQuest Forest 48 cable was installed, voila - the TV detected the signal as 4K. There's an old adage in life that "You get what you pay for." These cables aren't on the bargain counter, but neither is their performance.

Can't Go Wrong

Gave it a 4 since I have serval HDMI cables which works as well. Also use other AudioQuest interconnects for other components along with custom made cables which are based on connectors, wire size & shielding.

great bright picture

replaced an old pangea hdmi cable with this one instant difference. clearer brighter picture. bought the 7.5 footer and it fit perfectly highly recommend

Only marginal improvement

I use this cable to connect a Panasonic 4K player to an LG OLED TV. I noticed an improvement in sound before I noticed a better picture. I've been using AudioQuest Pearl HDMI cables for several years, and the Forest 48 did improve the detail in some movies -- noticeable in "The Hunger Games," but not in " Blade Runner 2049." I also played episodes of "The Expanse" (2K) in the 4K player. They didn't look so good -- faces washed out of color, some colorful lights were oversaturated and the lights on spaceships had a lot of glare.

Definitely noticed a difference

I replaced older Monster M-Series 2.0a HDMI with these cables for a couple of my components where I really care about the sound quality in particular, and I immediately noticed improved sound stage for audio playback. Picture looks crisper as well. Expensive cables, but I think these are the real deal. Only real drawback I can see aside from the price is that the cable itself is quite stiff. It came wound in a circle and it still wants to revert to that shape, if that makes sense.

Quality HDMI Cables

Audioquest cables have always been a great investment. They are well built and provide excellent picture and sound quality. They may cost more than some of the hdmi cables that are found online, but I feel it is worth the extra money.

Great Cables - Do Not Hesitate to Buy!

I have a Sony XR65AX90J TV that I purchased from Crutchfield and had it connected to my Yamaha A8A Receiver, also from Crutchfield, and connected to eARC with what I assumed at the time were some decent HDMI cables, I recently upgraded the HDMI cables from my AppleTV 4K to the receiver and from the receiver to the TV with the AudioQuest Forest 48 cables. The cable from the receiver to the TV did not make a noticeable difference, however, the greatest difference was changing the older HDMI from the AppleTV to the receiver. Not only is the already very vivid and sharp screen more colorful and sharper, the audio is noticeably improved and sounds far more balanced than before. If you are hesitating about the higher costs of these HDMI cables, DON'T! You will not be sorry. These make a difference and I regret not getting them sooner. Thanks Crutchfield for carrying another great product!

A green cable. Is it worth the price? Who knows? Should you buy a Crutchfield special over this cable? Perhaps, but for the purist, this cable is worth a look.

AudioQuest Forest 48

This is a very nicely built HDMI cable. I bought it as an upgrade from the stock HDMI cable that came with my Sony HT-A7000 sound bar. I'm not 100% sure if there's a big difference in picture and audio quality because it's hard to do side-by-side comparison between cables unless you have identical sets of equipment to keep all factors the same. Nevertheless, this cable was reasonably priced and functioned just fine for me.

Budget Friendly

I needed a specific length to run in-wall between a wall mounted LCD and AV receiver. I've used AudioQuest for both analog and digital connections in my system. I went with the Forest 48 as it fit my budget for the length I needed and it works fine.

The moment you open the box of an Audio Quest cable, you feel the quality. I use Audio Quest for all of my A/V needs. This wire was used to connect my TV to my new Bose 900 Soundbar. Perfect!

Do HDMI cables make a difference?

Yes they do. I was skeptical at first. Heard that off brand, cheaper cables are just as good. Well, some are good, but it's luck of draw. Then I've observed diminished video quality, some sound dropout.Cables do make a difference, in audio and visual quality. I went with audio quest, paid more , but it was money well spent. Just improved consistent quality, audio and visual.

New Audioquest HDMI (48 version) cables for 2021.

HDMI Done Right

A well made HDMI cable offered in several lengths. My overall impression (not a formal AB test) is that the video performance with this cable is better than my previous HDMI cable in my HT setup. Please note that the wire thickness of the 5M version is thicker than the shorter lengths. It is much stiffer and more difficult to install.

great company

Audio Quest product quality is always outstanding , never an issue with thier products. The handling and shipment of the Audio test product by Crutchfield was exceptional. Product was protected as was the environment by using biodegradable popcorn, very impresive.
