Better than WiFi.

Works as described. Better than WiFi. Picture is more stable and clearer. Considering my Router was next to my TV it was a no brainer to use an Ethernet cable rather than WiFi

Don't scrimp on the cable!

Crutchfield has a great selection at a good price with excellent shipping options. AudioQuest, while expensive, does provide bullet proof high end cables!

I'm a believer in quality cords!

I will preface this review noting I have not been a believer that high dollar cords are worth the extra dollars. My opinion has now changed! I purchased this Cat 7 ethernet cord to go with my new Bluesound Node to replace the Cat 5 that came with the Node. I immediately noticed better data transmission from my Orbi satellite to the Node. HiRes streaming from Qobuz sounded clearer and less "muddy". This ethernet cable combined with the Ethereal Velox Stereo RCA Audio Cables (outlet items for an awesome price), made for awesome sound reproduction through my Focal Chora 826s! The great thing, is while these are higher quality cords than the 'stock' cables that came with the Node, these are not 'break the bank' expensive, and are definitely worth the price! Be sure to measure how much cord you need! I missed the mark initially and had to order the 1.5M length.

Quite Good!

Wasn't expecting the ethernet cable to be so important to the clarity of the sound, but there it is! Muffled cheesecloth sound gone, as are the harsh/hard highs. Deeper/stronger midrange, more open and effortless, natural timbre, soundstage definition, pretty much everything is better! Love it :)

Better SQ.

I substituted this product for an off-the-shelf ethernet cable for my (1) audio file server and (2) player. I noticed better SQ. Well worth the $$. As we all know, in high-resolution audio, it's not simply "ones and zeros" over cables. It's about shielding for EMI and RFI. This product protects your audio "ones and zeros" from interference. Your ears will hear the SQ difference.

Nice Cat 6 cable

It's ethernet, I know. I felt foolish buying it too but for the money and considering the money I have in the other cables, then why not. The quality seems great as always with Audioquest.

AudioQuest Forest ethernet cable

Great cable for upgrade from stock ethernet cable. There is a clear improvement in streaming audio quality; this upgrade is a relatively low cost improvement over stock cables.
