Angle is not adjustable, but great camera otherwise!
James from PALMYRA, PA on 3/13/2023
Very nice OEM-style camera. Please note that this mounts via a through-hole. This has NO adjustability to aim, other than rotating it in the hole. So for rear-view, you must mount it on a horizontal surface (not an angled one). If you don't have a horizontal surface to mount it on, you should probably look at others. If you can deal with that restriction, this thing is great - very clear image, can reverse the image during the wiring (cut a wire for reverse view) and is very discrete looking in the style of mounting. Appears very much like OEM. This is the second one of these I've purchased! Great price.
Pros: Low profile-looks OEM. Image has good colors and field of view.
Cons: up/down not adjustable

looks oem
Miguel from Miami, FL on 11/3/2022
good price for this aftermarket camera; when place correctly it even looks and feels OEM. the camera itself is easy to install, bringing the cable to the front is another story.
Pros: easy to install
Cons: not many install options; surface mount ONLY, by design! :(

These are NOT "side view" unless mounted face down.
Eric from Blaine, WA on 8/1/2022
The cameras work, having said that they are listed as "side view" when they are mounted on the side of a vehicle they display upside down! I bough these to use as side view on my Motorhome in conjunction with the Kenwook DNR1007XR. I contacted Boyo and they said that they must be mounted to the bottom side of a rear view mirror to work correctly (no place in the instructions or advertisement does it indicate that). The Rep. at Boyo said it's and error in their information. So now I have a hole in both sides of my Motorhome and will have try to find cameras that will work and cover the holes... No fault of Crutchfield they were very helpful but could not resolve the issue and were also apparently not aware that these are NOT "side view" unless they are mounted facing downward!
Pros: None, well not really true they work but not as advertised...
Cons: Lots and lots

Nice discreet backup camera
Jim from Palmyra, PA on 4/12/2022
Very small and discreet back up camera. Very easy to mount and route the small cable connector. Looks much more like OEM-style than some of the larger models. Great image quality. I did not want a clunky chunk on top of the liscense plate, and the one hole mounting was ideal for the location I wanted.
Pros: Ease of installation. Picture quality. Value.
Cons: None

I am happy with this camera. The placement was very easy on my car. I liked the fact that there are no screws on the outside holding it in. It didn't come with a hole saw for me, but I ended up using a stepped drill bit and mounted it on a plastic piece above my license plate. It looks like it came on the car from the factory. The picture quality is pretty good. The instructions are just fine. They are not so clear if you're not familiar with installing things. I installed this with a new head unit, speakers and amp so it was easy to run the wires since I already had everything apart. I would recommend it to a friend.

Image flipped if mounted vertically
Samuel from STERRETT, AL on 1/10/2021
Be warned, this device is for mounting upside-down on your vehicle. It is not meant to be vertically mounted. The image will be flipped. I now have a hole in my car and I have to return this camera. The camera image was great. I just could not use a flipped image. Oh, and you cannot rotate the camera 180 degrees as it will just see the sky.
Pros: Good image
Cons: Flipped video

If I could give zero stars I would. This is absolute junk. Lets start with the cabling. If you have a super compact car you might be fine. I was installing on a Nissan Rogue. Not large but the AV cable was 3ft short. Had to buy extension kit obline. Not that big of a deal but an additional $20 nontheless. Then when installing the camera with the provided "holesaw" yea it was junk..... teeth burn off before cutting through the paint.... and yes I was going slow and with wd40 as lube. Then after the install was done the ultimate kicker. the video feed is upside down. No I di not mount the camera upside down it is mounted aimed at the ground and the feed is not swap able. Adding insult to injury when I tried calling "tech support" for 2 hours they apologized for it being so busy they could not handle anymore calls. it's 12 noon on a saturday. Yea to say I am disappointed is the understatement of 2021....
Pros: Install looks good
Cons: pretty much everything.... it's just not worth fooling with.
