Have a modest townhouse that is pre wired for sound. Looked at the website and discovered the CDT 3650-C-II model was a great buy. They sound fantastic in this setting with 10' ceilings. Cone and tweeter are both able to be positioned perfectly and I'm thrilled that I now have surround sound in the living room at an exceptional price. ??

I was initially against getting in-ceiling speakers, thinking that they cannot match the sound produced by a wall mounted speaker. But my wife wanted speakers with a less "obtrusive" appearance. These Klipsch CDT-3650 -C-II speakers changed my opinion of in-ceiling speakers. I was not surprised that they had the characteristic bright sound I have come to expect from Klipsch. But the totality of the sound they produce is quite impressive. I have only had these speakers for a day, but we played them for a good chunk of yesterday, both watching surround sound TV and streaming music. I am very satisfied at this point.

These ceiling speakers replaced some moderately priced (and moderate quality at best) 12 year old ones. The clarity/cleaness of the sound from the Klipschs was truly amazing. I put on Knopfler, IZ, and even Reggae Dylan just to hear the music in a new light! Thanks for great speakers at a great price.
Pros: Easy to install 'tho slightly larger than my existing ones. Super sound.

Excellent for built in surround Dolby Atmos ceiling speakers. Great low and high frequency response that you would expect from the Klipsch brand.
Pros: The included template made installation easy with a Dremel circle cutting tool. Great mounting clips attached to the speakers that allow in house installation with just a screwdriver.
Cons: No in attic speaker back cover is included. Klipsch should included the optional attic speaker cover protectors in the price of the kit.

Awesome sound and easy to install

Love the sound, took some time to break in new speakers but just got better and better. Fully immersed on movie nights and easy to self install!

Really easy to install. The magnetic grill goes on easy and with its slim profile disappears into the ceiling. But most importantly, the upgrade in my surround sound is wonderful. I put four of these in the ceiling for an atmos setup, and I'm totally loving it. Matched with the R-5650-S II in wall speakers. Just such a great setup for our living room. So glad I got these.
Pros: Easy install, great value, wonderful sound, especially with the ability to aim the speakers.
Cons: None. Good speakers.

Upgraded from klipsch cs16 cii, more bass, better treble, much better midrange and pivoting tweeter improved sound all around. Will buy 2 more for 7.2.4 ceiling upgrade. Will use Crutchfield again.

Picked these up cause I already had two of them and it seems there's a newer model. I wanted to have a total of four to continue our 5.1.4 build. They sound fine to me but I'm no expert.
Pros: Match my other two.
Cons: Don't have enough to finish the build so maybe I'll "win" the drawing for doing this review.

Best Atmos Speaker option

The speakers sound fantastic, are easy to install and look very clean in the ceiling. The adjustable tweeter and sub make a big difference and in my opinion make them one of the best options for an Atmos setup. The ability to ensure the sound is being directly right at the listening position offers an exception Atmos experience.

Great sound from these speakers

I purchased 2 of these speakers to be placed in ceiling for Dolby atoms setup. Since my ceiling is slightly angled up these speakers allowed me to angle both tweeter n bass drivers to optimize the sound back to the seating area. The sound is crisp n clear. I am most impressed with these ceiling speakers. I am using klipsch inwall speakers for my 7.1 system and the sound is incredible..

Great Klipsch Speaker

I used 4x of these speakers as my ceiling installed Dolby Atmos speakers. These speakers sound GREAT! I have other Klipsch speakers in my system, so they complement the others to give a full rich and enveloping sound. I have been sold on Klipsch now for over 1 year and these are my third set of Klipsch speakers to add to my systems. There is no going back for me, ever.
Pros: Easy to install after making ceiling holes and pre-installing the speaker cables. High sensitivity, thus they require less power to drive them. Magnetic, paintable grills that are easy to put on and to remove. The speakers also have both aimable woofer and horn tweeter.

I had a home theater expert pre-wire the room and then (after construction was complete) install the speakers. It is a beautiful installation. Installer said that he loved these Klipsch in-wall speakers because the installation was so easy because the grill is magnetic and installs effortlessly. After seeing what is involved, I really think I could have installed them myself. But I love them because the look perfect. Very little of the speaker grill projects from the ceiling and the grill is very pretty. Sound is great, too. You'll love these.

I recently purchased these as the solution to wanting good rear surround speakers without having anywhere to place floor standing speakers. They are driven by a SONY STR- DN840 and they sound fantastic. Installation was a snap and it was literally just cutting a hole and turning a screwdriver a few turns and done! I love how the driver and tweeter can be individually adjusted so that you can aim at the listening "sweet spot". Since these are surrounds I can't comment on their "standalone" performance, but they are clear, crisp, and handle loud without complaining. They look like they belong, blending into the ceiling without issue.
Pros: Easy installation, directional driver / tweeter, crisp clear sound at all volume levels.
