Very 'smooth'/'flat' but not small
David from Lititz, PA on 6/15/2025
Using these on my 30x40 screened in porch. Smooth and clear. I had to crank the bass up a little bit more than when I was using my 20-year-old Bose 251s. But smooth and clear.
Pros: easy to mount, many options. Neutral sound which i prefer. Nice waterproof connection 'pocket'.
Cons: I should have considerd the 6.5" woofer size just for appearances.

Excellent upgrade to 20 year old Bose outdoor speakers. These speakers sound excellent and get nice and loud. Mounting them could not have been easier. Great bass and great clarity . I highly recommend these for people who want to upgrade their outdoor entertainment area with great speakers.

Very Happy
Peter from Kingwood, TX on 5/20/2025
I've been part of the Klipsch family since 1977 (pair of LaScala speakers), and these speakers did not disappoint. Great, clean sound and easy to install. These replaced some Boston Acoustic speakers I've had for 23 years (which I have loved). Plugged these in and had a much richer and fuller sound. Very happy.

Awesome speakers
Weston from Pipersville, PA on 4/14/2025
These speakers are very large and the sound that comes out of them matches their size. They are mounted on a house that faces the ocean so we'll see how well they hold up! The sealed speaker connections are a great design.

JUST DO IT !
Scott from Wallingford CT on 6/15/2024
WOW,AWESOME, INCREDIBLE SOUND. I never leave reviews but the sound is so off the charts, I just had to say thank you. KLIPSCH, for another great pair of speakers. As always KLIPSCH blows these speakers out of the water. JUST DO IT! You don't even need a subwoofer. Your speakers produce an enormous amount of bass.

Cons: None

Klipsch RSM-650
Larry from Fort Wayne, IN on 4/7/2024
I purchased four of these to rock my outside pool area. They sound good and I am pleased, that is the main objective. The only complaint where I feel Klipsch missed on these new speakers is the so-called 5-way binding post, thus a rating of a 4. I am not sure it is really a 5-way binding post. However, it may be me. If anyone can confirm, please let us all know. I am not taking them down to check again. See pictures I found on the internet to explain. The actual is shown with a cap on top. There is a spring inside and you push down to line up the holes, shove in the wire, let it go and the spring holds it tight. First, the hole should be a little bigger to accommodate 12ga wire easier. However, my plan was to use banana plugs. Some may question why I would use banana plugs in the first place, and I understand the point. I have long speaker runs so I am using 12ga direct bury wire. To connect the wire after installation, you are up on a ladder contorting yourself to get to the connections, then you need push on the binding post while looking to see if the holes are lined up and using your other hand to shove in the wire, so you have two hands, your shoulders, and your head all in a very tight space while on a ladder. Much easier to install snap banana connectors then push them in. The manual suggests buying specialized connectors. The Klipsch website shows a binding post without the cap and the holes look much bigger than actual. Perhaps the caps can be removed, not sure.
Pros: Sound good
Cons: Different binding posts with bigger holes or include the connectors with the speakers.
