Bought this to connect my Revox A77 tape deck. The sound is very clean and the retro look matches it perfectly. Plu n Play. Couldn't be more happy

The Threes Plus times two: great wireless stereo option.
Dr John from Milford, OH on 1/23/2025
Beautiful speakers. (I bought two.) Great room-filling sound. Fewer Bluetooth glitches than my old Bose. In stereo mode with two speakers coupled, localization of sound is minimal. Bass is enjoyable for me. Midrange and hi frequency are very good. I love the look and the minimal control panel and large volume control.
Pros: Excellent sound
Cons: Sound localization is minimal in stereo mode.

Sucks all the joy out of music.
Rob from HONEY BROOK, PA on 12/3/2024
First, my Crutchfield experience was wonderful. Thank you Crutchfield. Context: I was looking for a low cost option for my dining room, without having to raise the volume on my existing system in my living room. Perhaps a wiim mini streamer connected to my existing system in the living room would send a signal to a second wiim mini in my dining room where it could connect to a powered speaker, thereby eliminating running speaker wire through the walls. In theory, this would create a 'whole house sound system' with music simultaneously playing in both rooms, but from the same source. Positive: This is a beautiful product, at a reasonable price, that was easy to setup, connect, and operate. Negative: No reasonable adult should be forced to listen to music through this device. The sound quality was so poor that it sucked all the joy out of the music. The experience was so fatiguing that I disconnected the device and placed it back in its box within fifteen minutes of powering it on. Generally speaking, I shy away from powered speakers in a singular enclosure as a product category. Again, I was hopeful that a low cost option would be sufficient for this particular application, but alas. Final Thoughts: This product may be suitable for a child/teenager where they simply want to be entertained for short periods of time. However, listening to this product for any period of time is simply too taxing on the ears.
Pros: Price, aesthetics, simple setup, connectivity, easy operation.
Cons: Poor sound quality, boomy base, fatiguing listening experience, inconsistent volume.

Beautiful Design but Could Use Improvement
Joe from Carlsbad, CA on 10/2/2024
Overall this is a nice speaker. With a retro-modern look, and solid construction, you will not be disappointed. I did knock one star off for two reasons. First, it is VERY loud - even at it's lowest volume. I was looking for a speaker that could play soothing background music while I worked but it is still too loud for that. Despite me having it placed high on a shelf a good 6 feet from me. I use Spotify a lot, and have figured out a workaround where I make the volume on my computer as low as possible, and then use the volume control on my phone with the Spotify app to lower it even further. But that does require me to have both my PC and phone on and running. Not ideal. Second is the bass. Man oh man, the bass. It's fascinating to me they could pump so much bass out of a bookshelf Bluetooth speaker but wow, it's a lot. Even turned down flat. There is an app with an EQ (thank goodness) but it is a "thumpy" speaker. So if you're all about the bass, you're going to love this speaker. Overall I'm happy with it, but would ask Klipsch to give us a bit more granularity on volume at the low end. Listening to New Age music loudly, kinda defeats the purpose...
Pros: Solidly built Beautiful design aesthetic Handy app
Cons: Loud even at lowest volume Too bass heavy, even when dialing it back via the app's EQ

Klipsch The Three Plus
Chris from Ruidoso, NM on 8/6/2024
Let me preface by stating that I also own the Klipsch The One. I use it in a living room and it sounds great. The new place is a more open floor plan so I needed something with a bit more power. Enter The Three. I have to say that it delivers in bringing a wall of sound into the living space. It sounds clean and does a great job of balancing bass and treble. You can also use the app to make custom EQ adjustments and it is easy to use. Though it is still breaking in, it already has that great Klipsch sound. I know that with time it will sound even warmer. Definitely a great buy.

Stellar Product
John from ELIZABETH, NJ on 7/31/2024
I gave this as a gift to my sister and this is her review- My beautiful, sleek new Klipsch The Three Plus in beige is an amazing and beautiful speaker - it's almost like the band playing live, in the room! Super easy to hook-up and use with little to no effort! I've situated the speaker in the center of my first floor in the living room, and I can be anywhere and it sounds fantastic. I would highly recommend the Klipsch The Three Plus speaker to anyone interested in a speaker that is compact and delivers room filling sound!
Pros: Beautiful, Compact size, excellent build quality, and fills the room with sound.
Cons: None

More than a big version of The One
Scott from Des Moines, IA on 7/19/2024
I had previously purchased The One earlier this year and loved it! So much so that I would take it from where I had it in our house out to my garage to listen to music when I was outside or working in the garage. As you can imagine this got tiring quickly, so I looked at perhaps getting another The One and the started to read reviews for The Three. I decided I wanted some thing that I could play very loudly so I could hear in my yard in addition to having something that would fill the space with sound in my garage. Many the reviews for the 3.2 its larger size, larger watt output and ability to provide, strong sound, but they also mention there's a tendency for the base to not be as pronounced. I really wanted something I could play quite loud outside (perhaps desperately trying to cling to my misspent youth). So despite the comments about the base, I decided to go with the three. And I have been incredibly happy ever since. Besides, not having to lug a speaker from my house out to my garage the three is more than capable of providing a 800 square-foot area filled with stuff with plenty of full of rich sound from the base all the way to the treble. I listen to a wide and eclectic range of music, including classical, reggae, Soca and electronic, and I have yet to hear any dropout of the base or a softening of the overall sound. I have found the three to be an amazing speaker that's provided me with the full Rich sound I was looking for at a
Pros: Size, sound, ability to add a turntable

Stay Away - Klipsch Failure
Ralph from Columbus, OH on 7/1/2024
Let me start by saying Crutchfield, as always, immediately provided a return label for these. And I'm a big Klipsch fan so I am horrified that Klipsch is selling this garbage. We bought 2 for our kitchen to replace some 12 yr old Sonos. These speakers are garbage. Build quality is poor but more importantly the engineering and sound is abysmal. The volume control is not linear - it goes from not quite loud enough to extremely loud - no gradual increase in sound. Sound quality is worse than a refurbished Bose Micro I paid $60 for. Truly horrendous sound quality. Klipsch needs to decide if they want to sell quality or garbage before they ruin their brand name. Thx to Crutchfield for such an easy return experience.
Pros: None
Cons: Horrible sound quality. Poor build quality. Terrible volume control.

Flawless and beautiful piece.
Joel from Merrimack, NH on 6/6/2024
I've been "married" to Klipsch now for some time now, and have to say this latest purchase doesn't disappoint. Power and rich sound. I'm liking the newer features and more seamless connectivity and upgraded app with virtual remote. Have an older "The Three" that still hits, but this one is all aces, from aesthetics to power.
Pros: Features, power, sound

Klipsch The Three Plus
Evan Nathan from Forest Hill, MD on 5/7/2024
The Klipsch The Three Plus replaced 10 to 15 year old Bose Mini. As far as sound quality it is excellent compare to my old Bose, it fills up living room and dinning room deep rich sound that heard since my Harman Kardon receiver and Poke Speaker days. Set up was exactly what i wanted, plug and play. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
Pros: Easy set Up. Nice sound out of small box.
Cons: I have none.

Gorgeus and powerful sound!
Israel from SAN JUAN, PR on 2/6/2024
Love the looks of this speaker. It looks gorgeous in my living room. Wood finish just makes the difference. Sound is great. Powerful 120 watts fills the whole room. App is excellent and good bluetooth reception even from other closer rooms. The only drawback that I found is that for the price, the App's has only a 3-band equalizer. I wished for art least 5 bands. Other than that the speaker delivers. Sound quality is excellent!
Pros: Great sound. powerful.
Cons: 3 band equalizer

loud and flexible
Louis from LINDENHURST, NY on 12/14/2023
Beautiful and loud. Didn't;t realize how loud it could get. For my desk at work it's too loud but I have a big office so I don't really care:) The free App does help to tame the sound. Didn't;t give it 5 stars because even though it charge a phone, through the USB-C cable, it can not play music through that same cable. And it's not in the literature and I think falsely informed about this product here. Will try to notify Crutchfield about that. Side note - a co-worker came to tell me something and saw the unit and thought it was very old. I smiled and said I bought it a month ago - that was kind of cool :)
Pros: loudness, looks, flexibility
Cons: the USB-C cable can't charge a phone and play music at the same time.

Substantial BT Speaker
Boswell from Oregon, WI on 12/3/2023
This was purchased as an upgrade from a portable Marshall speaker I had been using for a couple of years and the 3+ is a substantial speaker for my purposes. I appreciate the ability to connect other components such as a turntable or cd player via the RCA connections in the back. BT works well and sounds good enough for my old ears. There is clear differences between instruments and sounds, nothing garbled or smooshed together. I have not bought a second speaker as the price point is a little high for that right now. I can imagine though, how the sound quality would benefit even more with a second speaker. The 3+ sounds better at mid to high volumes as the lower "family" volume loses some of the clarity. What's more, the volume control is stepped as opposed to continuous and there is a substantial gap between what is too soft for me and too loud for the "family". In the end it is a very nice BT speaker and easily recommendable.
Pros: RCA component connections. Good clarity at mid-high volumes. Nice looking.
Cons: Significan gaps in stepped volume controls. Price point prohibits this buyer from getting a second speaker.
