DIY installation
If this is a do-it-yourself install, check out our guide to installing in-ceiling speakers, along with our selection of in-wall speaker wire. During installation, the tweeter bridge can be used as a handle to make the speaker easier to manage. The included magnetic grille is paintable and fits flush with your ceiling.

2-Way Driver Design: The Legrand Nuvo Series Two NV-2IC8-ANG in-ceiling loudspeaker utilizes a two-way driver design, featuring a 0.5" silk soft-dome tweeter and one 8" poly cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround.
- Angled Baffle: The NV-2IC8-ANG has a 15-degree baffle that angles the woofer and tweeter towards the seating positions of the listener.
- Pivoting Tweeter: The pivoting tweeter is mounted to a unique bridge and allows you to aim the tweeter at your targeted listening area.
Applications: The Nuvo Series Two NV-2IC8-ANG in-ceiling loudspeaker serves well for home theater, two-channel stereo, and distributed audio applications. Thanks to its angled baffle and pivoting tweeter, the NV-2IC8-ANG can be used as a front, center, and/or surround speaker in a home theater application.
Magnetic Grille: The Nuvo NV-2IC8-ANG comes with a low-profile, rimless grille that attaches magnetically to the front-baffle of the in-ceiling speaker. The grille features a white finish, but can be painted to match your ceiling. The low-profile, magnetic grille only protrudes 0.1875" from the ceiling.
Spring-Clip Terminals: The Nuvo NV-2IC8-ANG in-ceiling loudspeaker is outfitted with a set of spring-clip terminals to attach bare speaker wire (up to 12AWG) or pin-connectors.
Mounting Options: The Series Two NV-2IC8-ANG requires a circular cutout in the ceiling that measures 10.1875" (diameter) x 5.3125" (depth). Three swivel "dog-leg" clamps with integrated mounting screws secure the speaker in the ceiling. There needs to be at least 0.75" of clearance around the inside of the cutout to accommodate the swivel "dog-leg" clamps. The "dog-leg" clamps will accommodate up to 1.5" drywall thickness.
