Hideaway in-wall sound

Nuvo's value-packed NV-2IW6 speakers are an excellent addition to a custom-installed speaker system. They work well as surround or rear speakers in home theater setups. They also do a great job reproducing stereo sound if you'd rather use the pair for music listening. The best part: they don't take up any floor space. The included rimless grilles make the speakers blend in seamlessly with your wall.

A powerful woofer and an articulate tweeter

Each speaker uses a 6-1/2" woofer to deliver powerful midrange and upper bass, helping action sequencies come to life. The 1/2" silk dome tweeter keeps the highs smooth and easy on the ears without losing detail or sound quality. Plus, the tweeter is aimable so you can still have accurate imaging even if your listening position is a bit off-axis.

2-Way Driver Design: The Legrand Nuvo Series Two NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker utilizes a two-way driver design, featuring a 0.5" silk soft-dome tweeter that pivots and one 6.5" poly cone woofer with a butyl rubber surround. The pivoting tweeter is mounted to a unique bridge and allows you to aim the tweeter at your targeted listening area.

Applications: The Legrand Nuvo Series Two NV-4IW6 can be used as a front or rear channel speaker in a home theater application. It can also be used in a 2ch stereo application or part of a distributed audio system.

Magnetic Grille: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 comes with a low-profile, rimless grille that attaches magnetically to the front-baffle of the in-wall speaker. The grille features a white finish, but can be painted to match your wall. The low-profile, magnetic grille only protrudes 0.1875" from the wall.

Spring-Clip Terminals: The Nuvo NV-4IW6 in-wall loudspeaker is outfitted with a set of spring-clip terminals to attach bare speaker wire (up to 12AWG) or pin-connectors.

Mounting Options: The Series Two NV-4IW6 requires a rectangular cutout in the wall that measures 7.625" (w) x 10.75" (h) x 3.3125" (d). Six swivel "dog-leg" clamps with integrated mounting screws secure the speaker in the wall. There needs to be at least 0.75" of clearance around the inside of the cutout to accommodate the swivel "dog-leg" clamps. The "dog-leg" clamps will accommodate up to 1.5" drywall thickness.
