Great sound, quaity, and practically invisible

I added four of these for side and back surrounds in a 7.1.2 config with a new Pioneer Elite LX505 in a 19'x18' room with 9 ft ceiling. Already had middle in-ceiling height speakers. My goal was to have non-visible speakers without sacrificing sound quality. These delivered. Bass is good, highs and midrange clear, and they virtually disappear. Goal achieved.

I'm certainly no audiophile - but I know if I don't like the sound of something. I got a pair of these for a new Home Theater build (5.1.2) to act as surrounds (side, not rear) and couldn't be more pleased. My home theater room is about 16 x 15 x 8 (open back) - and of course, went through, the "should i just spend more and get the next size up" dilemma. Fortunately, had a good Crutchfield rep who re-assured me that these would work great - and he was right. Sounds great with the 5.5LCRs, ProCenter 2000, ProSub 1000, and the 6.5R (for Atmos). Having a good sub takes care of any concerns with the individual speaker woofer size - and then of course making sure you have a good receiver (Marantz SR6010) to process it all is the other piece of the puzzle. I can't say if it would sound better or worse if I had gone with a different brand or model, but I am very happy with the end result.

Good for surrounds

These speakers are great for thier price/purpose. The relatively small drivers and the compromises in size/shape required for in-walls result in a somewhat thin sound without much bass, but they are more than adequate for surrounds in a multichannel system with a powered sub. They mate well with my Def Tech mythos speakers, and were super easy to install. They are very inconspicuous with the low profile grill.

Pros: - Very easy to install - Decent sound quality - Very inconspicuous

Cons: - Small driver in shallow enclosure can't produce much bass
