2-Way Driver Design: The Definitive Technology Dymension DM20 center-channel speaker employs a 2-way driver design that features a 1" aluminum oxide dome tweeter and four 4" composite polymer cone woofers to provide full-range sound with superior vocal clarity.

• 1" Aluminum Oxide Dome Tweeter: The 1" aluminum oxide dome tweeter delivers crisp detail for unrivaled nuance and speech clarity. The rigid, well-damped tweeter provides smooth extended response with crisp transients, exceptional definition, and pinpoint-precise imaging, for incredible clarity and lifelike realism.
• Quad 4" Composite Polymer Cone Woofers: There are four 4" long-throw composite polymer cone mid-woofers that provide a lifelike, natural midrange with pronounced center channel impact. The mid-woofers feature a composite polymer cone that produce superior midrange detail, while the long-throw surrounds optimize driver excursion for improved low-end midbass performance.

Resonance-Free MDF Cabinet: The DM20 center-channel loudspeaker's enclosure is constructed from MDF and is wrapped in an acoustically transparent black grille cloth (the grille is not removable). The speaker cabinet is an acoustic suspension (sealed) designed for tight and accurate midbass performance with low distortion. The MDF cabinet features strategically placed bracing to improve imaging while reducing resonance, further reinforcing the speaker's clean and powerful sound.

5-Way Binding Posts: The Dymension DM20 center-channel speaker is outfitted with a set of 5-way binding post terminals to connect bare speaker wire (up to 10AWG), pin-connectors, spade-lugs, and banana plugs (single or dual).

Mounting & Placement Options: The DM20's main application use is as a center-channel loudspeaker in a home theater setup, but can also be used as front speakers in a home theater or 2ch stereo setup, as well as rear speakers in a home theater application. As a center-channel speaker, the DM20 can be horizontally positioned on a on a shelf or horizontally wall-mounted using its two integrated key-hole slots (mounting screws not included). As a front or rear speaker, the DM20 can be wall-mounted vertically using its two integrated key-hole slots (mounting screws not included); or simply positioned vertically on a stand, shelf, tabletop or other flat mounting surface.

• Center Channel Application: As a center speaker, the DM20 should be centered above or below your TV. If the speaker is placed on furniture, keep the speaker flush with the front edge of the mounting surface. If possible, angle the speaker toward the listening area when the speaker is too far above or below your TV. The DM20 measures 30.5" (w) x 5.25" (h) x 6.75" (d) in a horizontal orientation as a center-channel speaker.
• Front Channel Application: As front speakers in a home theater system or in a 2ch stereo setup, a pair of DM20s should form an equilateral triangle with your main seated listening position, so the distance from each speaker and the distance from each speaker and the main listening position are the same. The tweeter of the DM20 should be approximately at ear level when in your main seated listening position. The DM20 measures 5.25" (w) x 30.5" (h) x 6.75" (d) in a vertical orientation as a front channel speaker.
• Rear Channel Application: As rear speakers in a home theater system, a pair of DM20s can be positioned directly to the side of or directly behind your main seated listening position. The tweeter of the DM20 should be approximately at ear level when your main seated listening position. The DM20 measures 5.25" (w) x 30.5" (h) x 6.75" (d) in a vertical orientation as a rear channel speaker.
