Definitive Technology Descend DN12

This sub is large. I replaced a DN10 which moved downstairs to the audio system. I can tell the difference between and really like have the larger sub with the theater system.
Pros: Sounds great
Cons: Large No wireless but not an issue for my setup

Go for SB3000 instead
Chad from Saint Joseph, IL on 2/12/2023
This sub has to be turned up at least 75% volume before it starts to feel like it's doing anything. Once I got it dialed in and room corrected it did provide good bass to below 30htz. Sounded clean, but not even close to as good as the equally priced SB3000. Also the box is large, and couldn't hear or feel any benefit compared to the SB3000.
Pros: Great remote, nice well built enclosure. Nice display.
Cons: No real built in adjustments for peq, just 3 preset EQs. Too large without any tangible benefits. High gain required for decent output.

Definitive Technology Descend DN12
Hiram from Aguada, PR on 1/11/2022
My SR6015 Audyssey was able to integrate my two DN12 subs almost flawlessly with my Pork RTi A7 speakers Great bass at 25hz as specified, and even lower. I measured good flat SPL response at 18hz on my room, before it started to roll off. Works great for Music and Movies. It is a good sub for those that like a smooth integration with the main speaker without driving attention to themselves; while still being able to rock your room wit full bass when called for Not for those that prefer a high SPL "rumbling" on their room for the lower frequencies
Pros: Beautiful Subs. Almost looks a part of the décor. Great construction and sound for this price point.
Cons: None
