Sound was great. Not able to hold streaming, kept dropping out. The BluOS app was not helpful in connecting and controlling volume or settings.

Underwhelmed, disappointed
Jim from MENAHGA, MN on 5/30/2024
No different than $50 computer speakers. For this price I'd expect more than this junk. Returning it now.

PSB Alpha iQ
Thomas from Santa Barbara, CA on 3/1/2024
Outstanding performance and fidelity in compact size. fills large room with sub (Kef Kube). I'm sold on BluOS so this was a great option for powered speaker. Like the color choices.

Big sound in a small package
John John from East Boston, MA on 2/8/2024
Unbelievable good, but before I begin I think it's important to know and state the obvious these are compact speakers, so there are always compromises on the lower end of the sound spectrum. With that aside, the sound is a revelation, they sound much bigger than they are. I have them in a condo and they are great in small spaces. The sound is perfectly balanced and the sound stage and separation is the biggest surprise. I listen to all genres and for classical, rock and pop the sound is fantastic and smooth. A bit bright at times, but again they sound bigger and fuller than their size would indicate.with some hip hop and r and B this is where some of the low end drops off. But with a small sub, I suspect that would be remedied. Set up with the app was a bit of a pain, not an uncommon criticism from what I have read. If you like, Bowers, KEF, Klipsch and tend to like full rich sound then I will tell you they are worth every penny. I highly recommend them.
Pros: Rich sound, decent app, small size
Cons: Low end is a compromise, pricy

Versatile!
Callie from Norton, VA on 1/22/2024
I love testing stereo speakers out in strange configurations because not everyone has the ideal area for listening. These definitely withstood the test! They sounded great in multiple different set ups, and the bass was super impressive from such a small speaker.
Pros: No wires between the two, strong bass, wide listening area.
Cons: Set up was a little finicky

Happy speakers full of shimmer and punch
Sarah from Central MA on 1/15/2024
Got to compare these to the KEF LSX IIs. These are great speakers- the sound quality shimmers with lots of punch. They could use a little more warmth, but that seemed to be the trade off between them and the KEFs. I'm guessing a subwoofer would enhance their warmth, but I got these to live in my small kitchen where I spend a lot of time and a subwoofer might be a little gratutious? A great bonus is they can be hooked up to a house system with Blue OS, so we can add to our PSB collection down the road. I love the yellow color- they add a happy visual pop to the room. Extremely pleased; these are the speakers we eventually chose over the KEFs.
Pros: Sound quallity shimmers with lots of punch without a subwoofer; can be hooked up to a house system through Blue OS; they add great visual color pop to the room; not huge speakers, so great in small space
Cons: A subwoofer might add more warmth

PSB Alpha iQ - Just what I needed!
Bill from New Hampshire on 1/7/2024
Thanks to Nemo, my Crutchfield consultant, I narrowed my speaker selection to the KEF LSX II and the PSB Alpha iQ. Given my listening and equipment requirements, Nemo - a KEF fan - nevertheless suggested the PSB Alpha iQ as a better fit for my needs. He was so right! I am delighted by the quality of these speakers. They have great sound and an involving soundstage. I love the use of the BluOS app for hi-res streaming. Thanks, Nemo and Crutchfield, for such great service!
Pros: easy to set up! great sound!
Cons: none so far

could listen to these all day
Mark from Steamboat Spr, CO on 9/11/2023
Love these... I have a bluesound flex 2 and pulse 2 mini I was looking to replace...instead I added these and put the bluesounds in other rooms. The PSB sync up nicely since they also run on the BLUos network. I did consider KEF's, but phono out and BLUos of the PSB's persuaded me otherwise. I was originally bought and tried the NAIM Mu So2. It was better than my pulse mini, but I stillwasnt impressed. Bottom line, 2 speakers is better than 1. I have ~900 sq ft space and these fill the room surpisingly quite well. Great imaging and presence. No distortion at loud levels either. I may add a sub later. First time buyer of PSB and def buy again.
