They work as intended. Incredibly overpriced for what they are. Very lightweight molded silicon. I thought UPS had delivered an empty box when I picked it up. Markup on these things must cover losses on other products.

Taylor from Charlotte, NC on 7/10/2023
Work great with the HD3s, the speakers are a little wider than these are but it still looks good. Does exactly what they claim. The angle seems to be pretty ideal for me with the speakers up against the back of my 24 inch deep desk.
Pros: They fit HD3s

Raised the sound stage
Leroy from Jackson, MS on 2/26/2023
If your desk sits a little low, or you're a bit taller than average, you may find these speaker stands beneficial. The stands evlevate the sound stage. They are made from a foam rubber material. Once you put the speakers on the stands, they look like they belong there. I'm using these with my HD 3 speakers.
Pros: They work, look good, and the price is reasonable.

A must have for using the Audioengine A2+ speakers on your desk top.
Crutchfield customer from Tacoma, WA on 12/13/2021
A great small stand designed for having your Audioengine A2+ on your desk top. The stand angles the A2+ speakers for more accurate sound from the small speakers. The stands are very small and work quite well.
Pros: Look and work great, inexpensive. Makes your sound better on a desk top, or table top.
Cons: None.

Good small stands
Crutchfield customer from Newark, DE on 3/9/2021
The stands work good. As you can see from online pictures people use them for other desktop speakers that are larger as well. Only complaint is that they should only cost $10 to $15. But audioengine charges what they charge.
Pros: Work great for my audioengine A2+
Cons: Audioengine charges too much should be less.

Work perfectly. Sound stage much more clear. One star docked as this product really should have been included with the base package, or been somewhat cheaper. Not faulting Crutchfield for manufacturer decisions, however!
Pros: Works as intended.
Cons: Cost for what you get.

I am confident these will look great if and when I get the speakers to put on them. Speakers I ordered are out of stock; I do not quite understand, as I could simply cancel this order and buy the speakers on the audio engine website: as they are in stock. Yet I will be patient and wait for when the speakers will be in stock.

Necessary accessory for me.
Crutchfield customer from Fort Pierce, FL on 6/23/2020
I originally tried out my A2+s without stands and they sounded as if covered with a blanket. No amount of angling or tilting would remedy this. I was disheartened, but I figured I would give these a try. I don't know if it was due to having just the right angle or from being isolated from my desk but they completely transformed the sound by opening up the highs. Highly recommend!

They work well.
Jeff from Nacogdoches, TX on 4/1/2019
Works exactly as they should. Holds the HD3's well and points them at a good angle toward my ears. I use them at desk level, and as I read somewhere else, they also work well turned around on the shelf above my desk area, thereby angling the speakers slightly downward toward my head from above. That is a good way to use them. I can't say for sure, but they may also deepen the sound a little. The only knock is their price, which seems like a substantial markup for molded rubber, or soft plastic, or whatever polymer it is made of. Nevertheless, I am glad I bought them at the time I ordered the speakers.
Pros: Close to perfect shape and size for HD3's.
Cons: A little pricey, imo.

Improve the sound field and imaging.
Michael from Saint Louis, MO on 3/7/2019
Definitely focus the tweeters towards your ears and improve the sound field and imaging. I took one star off because they seem pretty cheaply made and if I'm already spending $350 on a pair of speakers the company should consider just including them. I expect the profit margin on these is high, but I'm not upset that I bought them.
Pros: Effective
Cons: Overpriced

Nice little addition to the A2+. Sturdy, seem like they should last a good long while, angle the speakers very nicely on the desktop so your head's on the speakers' axes. Price is a tad high for molded blocks, but they're a good addition if you can swing the cash.

Audioengine A2+ speakers and speaker stands
Neil M. from Carlsbad, CA on 4/4/2016
I was a little reluctant at first to spend this much money on speakers and speaker stands for my PC, but I am so glad I did. I purchased the Audioengine A2+ speakers and I tested them side by side with another brand and it was a no-brainer that the Audioengine's were MUCH better sounding. I use them every single day and I love them. The sound quality is a 10.
Pros: Sound quality is awesome for computer speakers
Cons: Make sure you have enough room on your desktop for them.

A worthwhile accessory
Mark T from Washington DC on 9/11/2015
I am very glad I ordered these at the same time that I ordered the Audioengine A2+ speakers. The speakers are wonderful, but are sensitive to how they are placed. The speakers tip them upwards off of the desk surface and I think make a noticeable difference in the sound. I also toe them in slightly on either side of the monitor. They may seem a little expensive for what they are, but relative to the price of the speakers make good speakers even better. They look nice, too!
Pros: Go very well with the speakers, both for appearance and functionality.
Cons: I suppose it would have been nice if they had come standard with the speakers, but if the speakers were going to end up higher on a bookshelf rather than on an office or computer desk, they would have been unnecessary. It's fair enough to sell them separately.

Essential if you own A2+
Llama from Michigan on 2/17/2015
Holy cow!! These have made an already lovely Audioengine A2+ pair of speakers even more, well, lovely! Soundstage was good without these but with the stands is just incredible. Been on the hunt for years to quench my thirst for a quality desktop computer speaker system and these truly fit the bill perfectly. Get them!!!!! I believe they would work with other speaker pairs as well but I must say the stands with the A2+'s makes my face smile.
Pros: Small investment for huge gains in soundstage. Stable, sturdy stand.
Cons: Should be part of the whole set-up , have to buy separately:(

These are a great addition to the Audioengine speakers. Yes, it is a shame that they cost extra. I found them help with the sound of the speakers and protect the bottom of the speakers as well.

I originally wanted to use these speaker stands to add some height to the center channel speaker on my home theater system. Feels solid and substantial. When used with the A2's, makes an outstanding speaker system even more so. Noticeable difference in definition. The angle aims the speakers towards your ears when you're sitting at your desk. And makes the speakers better able to fill a small room when you crank up the volume.
Pros: solid and substantial

Quality addition to a pair of AudioEngine A2s
MylesS from Denver, PA on 3/12/2011
A little while ago, I purchased a pair of AudioEngine A2 speakers for my desktop computer. I took out an old pair of bookshelf speaker stands and put them on either side of my desk so that I wouldn't have to take up valuable space with these speakers. The one downside of it all was that the A2s didn't meet my ears... that means everything was very slightly dull. I noticed a subtle difference whenever I would hunch over to put my ears in the tweeter's path when compared to simply sitting up above. This product is a great way to fix the problem of not being right in the tweeter sweetspot. They seem to be quite stable as well, even on my current stands. The only down side is that these make my Audioengine A2s look a bit awkward by being on top of DS1 stands that are on top of bookshelf speaker stands. I can deal with the awkwardness, however, because hte sound is subtly improved. Improvements: (All improvements are verrry slight, but noticeable if you listen closely. Keep in mind that these improvements are only if the speakers didn't actually hit your ears before the DS1 stands. If you were already in the sweetspot all along, you won't really notice any change at all) - Small improvement in stereo imaging - improvement in trebles - very small improvement in bass definition (Might just be me though) Overall, I'm quite happy with these angled stands.
