These will surprise you
Brian from COLUMBIA, SC on 8/29/2024
2016 Toyota Corolla
Running these off an Alpine PDXV9 amplifier, signal from a Kenwood headunit. These things scream and are nice looking. Disregard the reviews that says these have no bass. I am getting quite a bit of bass from these in my toyota corolla. Maybe because I am slightly overpowering them. Of course I will not play them full tilt boogy all the time. The soft dome tweeter is bright enough to get the job done. I know its just my opinion but I like these over the Rockford Fosgate P1s I already have. These 6x9s sound really good plus they come with foam and a trim ring. Great value Crutchfield.
Pros: Nice clean sound for an entry level item. Nice looking product as well.
Cons: Would like them to have a higher power handling

Perfect set of speakers for rear fill to compliment the P-67CB's in my front doors and my Rockville 8" sub under the seat. And the price is too good to be true. I'm highly impressed with this brand!!!!
Pros: Crystal clear. Perfect for rear fill without overpowering the front. Incredible price.
Cons: Nothing negative to say at all

I replaced my head unit in my F-150 (not easy or cheap) and placed these in the rear. They sound great. Yes, they are cheap. They don't blow me away, but they're a definite upgrade and sound great. I bought some Polk audio db 652 for the front- the polks are pure garbage. These are great. I'm sure there are better speakers but for the price point, I'm very happy.

P-69Bs in my 2004 blazer mid-panel
Chance from Globe, AZ on 2/28/2023

These speakers are really good if you like bass to the point that it shakes panels and makes the lights on your radio dim with the bass.
Pros: Good bass while also balancing out the vocals, great stock speaker replacement, easy installation if you get the easy installation wire that cf recommends, has good highs and lows, the box it ships in has a WW2 plane on it, and it comes with stickers
Cons: Only 110 watt peak and 2-55 watts rms, I can't really think of any other cons but if I do I might edit this but I'll also see how long they last

Pros: Good sound Cheap Bass
Cons: Not loud enough for my taste Flimsy connectors Gets muddy when playing loud bass

Can't be beat for the price
Crutchfield customer from Santa Maria, CA on 10/13/2021
2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
If you're on a budget, these speakers are for you. I can't imagine, at this price point, there being much better out there. They handle very well, and stay fairly clean. More than loud enough, with great high end, and pretty decent lows. I just find the mid range is tuned not to my liking. If you have a good deck, or pre amp, with some good eq options, these speakers will serve you very well. If you're dropping them in a factory system, they are indeed a huge improvement over factory, but you really need a good pre amp to tailor the sound to your needs.
Pros: Cheap Good quality Loud Seem reliable Look killer
Cons: I'm not fond of the mid range tone of these speakers. Need some good eq options to get these where you want them. (Really not a big deal, at all. Just preference).

Crutchfield customer from Williston, SC on 5/9/2021
2006 Nissan Titan
After a lot of research, I consulted Crutchfield about my tired, blown speakers. A video advised to replace the speakers in sets, with ones from the same manufacturer. I replaced my blown factory rear door speakers with Sound Ordnance P-67B speakers. I also bought a pair of Sound Ordnance P-69B speakers for the front doors. I replaced my factory head unit with a Jensen CMR8629. I am BLOWN AWAY with the results! I cannot believe what an improvement this has been. The sound quality of the speakers is awesome. I haven't listened to loud music since the 1980s but now I find myself cranking my stereo. If you want a true test of just how good the speakers are, listen to Middletown Dreams by Rush and crank it up to 3/4..no wash-out and crystal clear. My 52 year old ears are hearing sounds I didn't hear before. For the amount of money I spent I couldn't be more pleased.

Excellent for the money, easy install
Kevin from Royal Oak on 4/3/2021
2019 Subaru Outback
I haven't had these speakers in for more than an hour now (2019 Subaru Outback) but they went in so easily compared to other installs I've done as a consumer that I kick myself now for not using Crutchfield before. I am not enough of an audiophile that I can tell you the midrange/bass/highs are flat/shifted/whatever. The bottom line is that speakers from most manufacturers are garbage , and these speakers have really changed the sound in my Outback. I love music and am getting a lot more enjoyment already from these speakers. They are entry level speakers and designed to improve your listening experience over factory base model speakers, not to win competitions or be the end all to car audio. They do that at a very reasonable price and are easy to install with the provided wiring and brackets (this was the big thing for me after buying speakers elsewhere and not having correct mounting hardware or wiring adapters) I will continue shopping Crutchfield based on my experience and may also look at more Sound Ordnance speakers for my rear doors soon. For whatever its worth, with hand tools and after watching a YouTube video on panel removal, it took me an hour to install these. I have some but not much experience installing speakers in previous cars.
Pros: Ease of installation Entry level price Bang for the buck
Cons: Aesthetically odd high frequency driver, doesn't matter if you install behind factory grille.

Great 2-way 6x9! These speakers offer excellent value. The silk dome tweeters are smooth, the frequency response is impressive, and the sensitivity is great. The 3 year warranty makes these the best 6x9 speakers available. Compare the specifications, the numbers tell the truth about these speakers. Don't pay extra for "name brand" speakers. Purchase these, and you will be glad you did!
Pros: Price, Silk Tweeters, Frequency Response, Sensitivity, Warranty.
Cons: RMS wattage may be a concern to some, but with aftermarket radios and most smaller 4-channel amplifiers these are a perfect match.

Very nice, basic 6x9 speakers. These were recommended to me by Jenny in Customer Service based on the fact I was only going to be powering them by my Kenwood head unit. The bass from these speakers is pretty impressive, but the treble and highs get muddy as a result. Definitely want to use some good tweeters with these (which is again what Jenny recommended). Overall, these are great for what I am using them for and the Customer Support was awesome! Installed in a 1980 Malibu hot rod that is far from stock.
Pros: The speakers are very efficient at handling a low power head unit and making the most of it. Very nice bass.
Cons: Highs get lost in the bass. I would not use these as stand alone speakers as they need to be paired with tweeters for best overall sound quality.

I was hoping on a more rounded sound from this pair os speakers, but got mostly bass and hi highs. It booms loudly out back now, however I wish it would be a little more mellow so I actually hear mids. On the flip side, I don't think I need a subwoofer just yet. These speaker sound really good for the price. I'm not sure they are quite as good as the Kickers I had years ago but they are certainly close. I paired them with a Rockford Fosgate R300-4 amplifier and they absolutely crank. Together the the Sound Ordinance component system the whole system just sounds great. I would definitely recommend these if you're on a budget.
Pros: Great sound quality for a low price.
Cons: Had to actually drill holes for these in the Corolla to get them to fit but that would have likely been the case with any replacement speakers.

1999 Toyota Tercel
I have a Pioneer stereo head unit (50w x 4) (14w rms) on my 1999 Toyota Tercel and let me tell you that these speakers rocks, when listening to dubstep music it feels like if you have a external amp & a sub on your trunk, when listening to metal music you can hear the battery cymbals very clearly, these speakers sounds, looks & feels of very high quality & the 3 year warranty it's a plus. At first I bought the speakers because the 3 year warranty sounded very good and now that I have listened these speakers I'm glad I bought them from here!
Pros: Bass is very good, very punchy bass! Highs are awesone too, clear and crisp! Grilles stay put, don't get loose after a while!
Cons: Not really cons, just little issues: 1) Too much bass for certain types of music like metal, had to use the integrated equalizer of my stereo head unit to turn down the bass a little, but after adjusting the bass, metal music played fine! 2) You have to bump the grilles a little with the palm of your hand to get them in place, but after that they won't get loose, they will stay put in place even when listening to music with a lot of bass!

Pretty good so far
Nick from Michigan on 6/15/2015
The vehicle is a '99 Grand Caravan, with aftermarket cd player. I read a lot of reviews prior to my purchase, knew what price point I wanted to be at, and knew I was going to use an amp. I had seen Sound Ordnance here on Crutchfield for a couple years but never really looked at their products much until now (mostly because I haven't been actually shopping for speakers in quite some time). I'm pretty impressed with them so far, I've had them around a month. They are better sounding in all areas then the old Rockford primes 6x9's I'm replacing after they finally blew after 2 1/2 years on the same amp power level (different amp) 45w rms - 100 max per channel.
Pros: Good, loud highs, mids and lows for a speaker on amp power. I could see if they were in the rear deck of a car they would bump pretty nice for 6x9's. For what I wanted to spend I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive upgrade from stock!
Cons: They didn't install themselves.
