Works great when it works

Have issues with my Escape install. Most of the time it won't turn on (or doesn't work?), which means you won't have audio. It's hard to tell if it turns on because the green light stays lit for a few seconds by design. The escape is one of those vehicles with the stupid turn on electronic when a door is opened. And to try to get it to turn on by itself again you have to close the doors for a few minutes and try again. Firmware updates aren't fixing it. If you unplug and plug it back in when the vehicle is turned on, it works. However you shouldn't have to do that (plus mine is under the rear floor board). When you unplug it your volume settings lose their settings as well. Their mobile app doesn't work either, so flashing it will require you to unplug everything and hook it up to a computer. That isn't ideal when everything is screwed down. UPDATED 10/8/24: The team behind the Maestro were superior with getting an update out on an issue I was having with the A2B. So far the issue has been fixed. Install is super easy. I would recommend this to anyone who needs the amp bypass for the supported vehicles. The sound is so much better than having the factory amp process the signal. Thank you Crutchfield, and Maestro team!
