S8-FO1 APX Installation Kit: The iDatalink Maestro APX Series S8-FO1 kit allows the installation of an APX-compatible Kenwood or JVC aftermarket radio with 8" or 10" screen in select Ford & Lincoln vehicles when used in combination with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module (sold separately).
- Vehicle Compatibility: Select 2011-2023 Ford & Lincoln vehicles with factory 8" MyFord Touch radio. Click here for list of compatible vehicles.
- Radio Compatibility: APX-compatible Kenwood & JVC aftermarket radios with 8" or 10" screen - including the DAX8000S, DAX800XR, DAX1050XR, KW-Z800AW, and KW-Z1000AW.
Notes:
- The S8-FO1 installation kit requires the purchase of the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 (sold separately) and the download of a vehicle specific firmware from iDatalink Weblink Desktop (for Windows and Mac).
- In some installations, the Kenwood KCA-A150EX or JVC KS-UA50 extension cable will also be required and sold separately.
Direct T-Harness Compatible: The S8-FO1 supports iDatalink Direct T-Harness (sold separately) for direct connection to a compatible APX-compatible Kenwood or JVC aftermarket head unit (some hardwiring may still be required).
Factory Fit: The S8-FO1 installation kit includes mounting hardware and harnesses to retain your vehicle's factory radio bezel and controls for a factory appearance with aftermarket performance, and without the need of a plastic dash kit.
Retained Factory Features: The S8-FO1 installation kit, along with the iDatalink Maestro RR or RR2 interface module, allows you to retain the following Ford factory features (if applicable).
- Factory Amplifier: Retains premium Sony factory amplifier with turn-on and fader control.
- Climate Display & Control: The factory climate display and control can be accessed from the touchscreen of your APX compatible aftermarket head unit.
- Vehicle Settings: Access and modify factory vehicle settings through the compatible aftermarket head unit's touchscreen.
- Secondary Vehicle Display: Secondary vehicle display is retained (if factory equipped) with audio information, hands-free information, and internal navigation.
- Steering Wheel Controls: Factory steering wheel controls are retained with two function buttons and expandable radio functions.
- USB Retention: Factory USB ports are retained and allow a wired USB connection for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto from your new aftermarket radio.
- Advanced Camera Features: Factory backup camera is retained with parking guidelines, as well the factory 360 camera. If you add an aftermarket front and/or side cameras (sold separately) to your APX-compatible head unit that is equipped with multiple camera inputs, the vehicle's factory auto camera switching feature is also retained.
- Warning Chimes: Factory warning chimes are retained through the use of the S8-FO1 installation kit.
Extra Features: The following Extra features are added when using the Maestro RR or RR2 Car Radio Replacement Interface module and the S8-FO1 installation kit.
- Vehicle Info: Tire Pressure Display, Battery Voltage Display, Read/Reset Engine Codes, and Door Open Status with Warning.
- Gauges: Selectable Performance Gauges, "Track Pack" Gauges, and Read/Reset Check Engine Codes.
