Love the concept but the instructions were not very good
Joseph from Tarpon Springs, FL on 6/26/2024
2013 Toyota Camry
Love the concept but the instructions were not very good on what connections to make for the specific application. Obviously the cables plug in one way only, but it is the danglers that need splicing and those instructions were not good.
Pros: saves time with pre-wiring
Cons: instructions on what to do with the dangling wires in the specific use case I purchased it for.

Buy it - do not try and splice yourself
John from Kyle, TX on 3/9/2024
2020 Toyota Tundra
For what this item costs, it will save you from time and headaches. Get it. I don't recommend trying to splice the headunit harness to the iDatalink HRN-HRR-TO3 yourself. It can be done sure, but this is the smarter route. This harness takes the place of the head unit harness and makes install a breeze.

The ultimate time saver. Trash the new head unit plug - use this one and you are off to the races. It saves a good 45 minutes to an hour of making connections that could fail while trying to pack away six miles of wire in a small space.

Worked well
Jonathan from Apache Junction, AZ on 8/27/2023
Plugged this into a Kenwood DNX697S, than a iDatalink HRN-HRR-CH2 interface harness, than a iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module flashed for a 2008 Dodge Ram 3500, push, click install down. These interface parts are worth the money than trying to cut and splice. The newer the vehicle is the bigger the headache.
