The iDatalink ACC-HU-PIO1 adapter allows you to connect select Pioneer radios to compatible iDatalink T-harnesses. This extra harness takes the place of the harness that comes with your new Pioneer stereo. It connects directly between select Pioneer radios and the latest Maestro "Head-unit ready" T-harnesses so you won't have to splice any wires.
Note: This harness will not work by itself. You must also have an iDatalink interface module (ADS-MRR, ADS-MRR2, or ADS-MSR) and a compatible vehicle-specific iDatalink T-harness.

iDatalink Maestro to Head Unit Adapter: The iDatalink ACC-HU-PIO1 adapter harness allows for direct connection between select Pioneer aftermarket radios and compatible iDatalink Maestro vehicle specific harnesses used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR, ADS-MRR2, or ADS-MSR radio replacement interface module. The ACC-HU-PIO1 adapter harness will replace the wiring harness that comes with your Pioneer radio. There is a 16-pin Pioneer connector on one end that plugs into the back of your Pioneer radio and a 20-pin iDatalink Maestro connector on the other end that will plug into a compatible iDatalink Maestro vehicle specific harness. The 16-pin Pioneer connector features the following wiring pinout.

I'm very happy with my stereo, it went in smoothly it works well and the sound quality is light years beyond my previous head unit. The Apple CarPlay works extremely well. It's nice having all the features in an older car!
