For the price that's paid you should receive much better instructions, that are printed and included in the packaging ! A ladder wiring diagram is good for someone with know-how but not the average Joe. Furthermore there should be a link to an install video. Some simple, cheap items that should also be included should be a dozen cable ties and a plastic panel removal tool. Come on people!

Great way to ease the install for a remote starter unit. The only complaint would be that the included instructions are really just a wiring diagram and some simple instructions in the module flashing application. But Crutchfield has great support if you need it. Once I realized the diagrams had one for "hardwiring" and one for using the harness it was really pretty easy tok follow.

Confusing instructions

Instructions come from iDatastart and are not as clear cut as Crutchfields typical instructions. It took a little bit to decipher it, but once figured out, installation was a breeze. All of the wires can be daunting, but once the instructions were figured out installation was a breeze.

Pros: Plug and play

Cons: The one wire I needed to splice was hard to get to and no clear instructions

I was so completely impressed with the iDatastart products, especially the ease of connecting everything using the T-harness ...everything worked seamlessly together! Crutchfield's technical support was, as usual, second to none!! Made me wonder why I ever paid somebody in the past to install my remote starter systems in the past.

Installed 2 days ago...works as advertised. Installation was in less than 2 hours...very clean installation...worth installation cost...

Pros: Need to have AC running during the summer when traveling with my dog. Programmed to 35 min.s run time for stops. Will give it a true test in June and July.
