Overview: Google's Pixel Buds Pro 2 true-wireless earphones deliver brilliant sound, clear calls, and all-day comfort. They feature Bluetooth 5.4, the latest version of Bluetooth, for pairing your ear buds with a smartphone, tablet, or Bluetooth-enabled laptop. These IP54-rated earbuds are sweat- and water-resistant, so you can wear them in any weather, or while you work out. The charging case is IPX4 rated for protection against moisture and dust. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 come in a choice of four colors, with four pairs of ear tips, and a Qi-certified wireless charging case.

Bluetooth 5.4: The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 has Bluetooth 5.4 for a reliable wireless connection to your mobile devices. Multipoint connectivity lets you pair the ear buds to two audio sources at the same time. The Audio Switching feature lets you seamlessly switch between the two paired audio sources. You can choose which source you want to listen to, based on your priority setting, using the Google Pixel Buds app or the Google Assistant.

Design: The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are designed for fit, comfort, and convenience. Engineers used the data from 45 million ear scans to achieve a comfortable, yet secure, fit. Custom-designed 11mm dynamic drivers deliver clear, high quality audio. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have three beamforming microphones and a voice-detecting accelerometer to assure your voice is clear on your phone calls. The microphones are covered with mesh to block the wind from causing noise in the ear buds. Four pairs of ear tips (XS, S, M, L) are included to help you find the best fit.

Tensor A1 Chip: The Tensor A1 chip is a Google AI-powered chip that is used for the first time in the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to enhance audio performance and improve noise cancellation. The chip can process the audio many times faster than the original Pixel Buds Pro, boosting the Active Noise Cancellation to new levels. Google's Clear Calling technology makes your phone calls much clearer. The Tensor A1 enables the Pro 2 to be 27% smaller and 24% lighter than the original, and more efficient resulting in better battery life.

Active Noise Cancellation/Transparency: The Pixel Buds Pro 2 use Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with Silent Seal™ 2.0 to block twice as much noise (compared to original), so you can hear only your music or phone call. Microphones pick up the ambient noise, and the ANC circuitry applies an out-of-phase signal to cancel the noise. With Silent Seal 2.0, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 adapt to your environment up to 3 million times per second. The Transparency feature lets the ambient sound in so you can hear the world around you. You can toggle through the modes using a Touch and Hold gesture, control the ANC mode in the Google Pixel Buds app, or use the Google Assistant to turn on the desired mode using your voice.

IR Proximity Sensor: The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature infrared proximity sensors in each ear bud that can determine when you insert the ear buds and when you remove them. While listening to music, removing either or both ear buds will automatically pause the playback.

Touch Controls: Each earbud is equipped with a capacitive touch outer panel that lets you control your media, phone calls, and the Google Assistant with various gestures. If desired, you can turn off Touch Controls in the Settings menu of your Pixel or Android phone. The Touch Controls can perform the following actions:

LE Audio: The Google Pixel Bud Pro 2 supports Bluetooth LE Audio, offering many enhanced features when paired with a compatible device, such as select Pixel smartphones. Bluetooth LE Audio (Low Energy Audio) offers improved battery life, and allows users to stream audio from one device to multiple devices simultaneously. Full compatibility with other devices may require future firmware updates.

Battery: Each Pixel Bud Pro 2 has its own rechargeable battery, plus the charging case. On a full charge, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 give you up to 12 hours of listening time with ANC off, and 8 hours with ANC on. A fully-charged Charging Case provides additional listening time, for a total of 48 hours with ANC off, and 30 hours with ANC on. A 5-minute quick charge gives the ear buds up to 1.5 hours of listening time ANC off or 1 hour with ANC on. A 15-minute quick charge delivers up to 3 hours of listening time (ANC on). The Charging Case is Qi-certified, and can be charged on a Qi Wireless Charging pad, or charged via a USB-C charging cable (not included). No charging data is provided for the Charging Case.

Google Gemini: The Pixel Buds Pro 2 is the first earbud equipped with Google Gemini AI, a hands-free virtual AI assistant. You can ask questions, get directions, receive recommendations, and get reminders of upcoming appointments, just by asking Gemini. To enjoy Gemini, you must have an internet connection and the Gemini mobile app on your device. On select devices, Gemini Live's state-of-the-art speech technology allows you to carry on extended conversations with Gemini. Gemini can be easily accessed by saying "Hey, Google, let's talk live."

Google Assistant: By pressing and holding either ear bud, you can connect the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to the Google Assistant. You can also access the Google Assistant by saying "Hey, Google," if enabled. You must have a Google Assistant-enabled Android device with the latest version of the Google app. A Google account and an internet connection are also required.
