SunBrite Solis Series: The SunBrite Solis Series TV is designed for full-sun outdoor spaces. Featuring an ultra-bright 1,500-nit (sustained full-screen brightness) anti-glare LED screen, 4K Ultra HD resolution (4K60), and advanced RGB-W screen technology for increased brightness with lower power consumption, the Solis Series delivers stunning outdoor-optimized picture quality and connectivity. Built-in Smart TV with WiFi ensures seamless streaming, while IP55 weatherproof durability stands up to the elements. Easy installation and a large media bay with built-in power make the Solis Series TV the ultimate outdoor entertainment solution.
- High Brightness & Clarity: Much brighter than indoor TVs, this all-weather television improves the viewing experience in brighter outdoor environments. The commercial-grade screen with direct LED backlight and TruVision anti-glare technology delivers an ultra-bright (1500-nit) picture with 4K resolution. SunBrite's OptiView provides pre-configured daytime/nighttime settings for optimal viewing any time of day. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically measures ambient light level and adjusts the backlight to a user preset level for the perfect brightness.
- Durable Outdoor Protection (IP55-Rated): Featuring a High TNI Eco Bright Panel to protect the screen from UV Rays and sun damage, this TV is engineered to withstand the hottest summer days and almost any storm thanks to its high operating temperature range, conformal coating on internal components to protect against humidity, and an IP55 rating. The Solis Series TV's sensitive internal components are enclosed in powder-coated rust-proof aluminum exterior with an IP55-rating for protection against rain, snow, dust, insects, humidity, and salt air. Plus, the innovative weather-tight cable entry system seals out moisture and allows for easy hook-ups. A temperature regulation system allows operation in low temperatures from 32°F and high temperatures up to 122°F (Storage temperature from -24°F up to 140°F).
Note: Indoor TV manufacturers specifically prohibit outdoor use. Installing a display that is independently certified safe for outdoor use helps protect homeowners from harm and installers from liability.
Direct-Lit LED with Frame Dimming: Direct-Lit technology uses several rows of LEDs placed behind the entire surface of the TV's screen. It also utilizes frame dimming to change the brightness of the TV's backlight on a frame-by-frame basis to produce contrast between dark and light scenes. In addition, the Direct-Lit LED TV screen incorporates RGB-W, Anti-Glare, & Quarter Wave Plate Polarization (QWP) technologies to improve TV viewing outdoors in the full sun.
- RGB-W Technology: The Solis Series' RGB-W screen technology uses additional white subpixels that allow for greater light output with lower power consumption and less heat generation, for a brighter overall image and longer display life in higher-temperature full-sun outdoor conditions.
- Anti-Glare Screen: The Direct-Lit TV screen incorporates an anti-glare coating for sustained full-screen brightness of 1500-nits for a vivid viewing experience, even in direct sunlight.
- Quarter Wave Plate Polarization (QWP): The TV screen also utilizes Quarter Wave Plate Polarization (QWP), improving visibility for viewers when wearing sunglasses.
Notes:
- The front panel used in this product is made of glass. Therefore, it can break when the product is dropped or impacted.
- The Liquid Crystal Panel is a very high technology product with 2,073,600 pixels, giving you fine picture details. Occasionally, a few non- active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of blue, green, or red. This does not affect the performance of the TV.
HDMI 2.1: The SunBrite Solis Series TV is equipped with three HDMI 2.1 inputs with support for HDCP 2.2, today's latest 4K sources, and HDR content. The HDMI inputs supports 4K/60Hz, 1080p/60Hz, 1080i, 720p, 720, 480p, and 480i video resolutions.
- 4K UHD: The SunBrite TV has a display resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 (4K) and will display all video at 4K UHD resolution through its built-in upscaler, regardless of input signal. 4K provides four times higher resolution than current 1080p high-definition TVs with a total of 8.3 million pixels. Its detail is so vivid and crisp, even when viewed from close distances; it's nearly impossible to discern a single pixel, even from inches away.
- HDR (High Dynamic Range): The Solis Series supports HDR 10, the most popular format of HDR. HDR (High Dynamic Range video) reproduces a greater dynamic range of luminosity or brightness levels, bringing greater contrast and wider color spectrum to the screen. This increased contrast reveals the subtle nuances of the image, from detailed blacks and shadows to the brightest whites and colors, plus greater depth.
Note: HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision are not supported.
Analog AV Input: In addition to HDMI connectivity, the SunBrite Solis TV is outfitted with an analog 3.5mm AV input to accommodate legacy and older source devices for audio/video playback. A 3.5mm AV to composite video/stereo RCA jack adapter (sold separately) will be required for most analog source devices.

Built-In OTA Tuner: The Solis Series TV has built-in over-the-air HDTV (ATSC) and Digital Cable (QAM) tuners, so you don't need a separate set-top box to receive and decode over-the-air HDTV/SDTV or unencrypted Digital Cable signals. There is a single coaxial RF (f-type) connector to connect your antenna (sold separately).
Audio Section
Built-In Speakers: The SunBrite Solis Series TV is equipped with a built-in stereo speaker system with two down-firing speakers.
Optional Soundbar: The TV's built-in amplifier can also be used to power an optional SunBrite TV soundbar speaker (SB-SP-S-L1-BL; sold separately).
eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel): The Enhanced Audio Return Channel within the television's HDMI 2 input enables the TV, via a single HDMI cable, to send audio data "upstream" to an AV receiver; increasing user flexibility and eliminating the need for any separate S/PDIF audio connection. This feature allows audio to be sent from the television to your AV receiver through the same HDMI cable already being used to send audio/video to the television. This eliminates the need for extra cables connected to the TV. eARC allows audio from the TV tuner, Network connection, inserted USB device, HDMI inputs, or any analog connected device to be heard through your eARC compatible AV receiver via the television's HDMI eARC input.
- The TV's HDMI Inputs and WebOS apps (like Netflix and Amazon) can be output as Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS:X, or 2ch PCM.
- The audio from the TV's tuner and USB ports can pass as Dolby Digital, DTS, or 2ch PCM.
- The audio output of the eARC jack cannot be utilized at the same time as the TV's built-in speakers, optional, soundbar, or analog & digital audio outputs.
Analog & Digital Audio Outputs: The SunBrite Solis Series TV features both analog and digital audio outputs. There is a fixed optical (toslink) digital output and a variable stereo minijack (3.5mm) analog audio output. You can choose to turn the television speakers off or leave them on with the TV's optical digital or analog output active. However, both the optical digital audio out and analog audio output cannot be active at same time.
- Optical Digital Out: The Solis Series TV is also outfitted with an optical (toslink) digital output that supports Dolby Digital or PCM audio signals (not compatible with DTS).
- Stereo Minijack Out: In addition, The Solis Series TV is equipped with a stereo minijack (3.5mm) analog audio output to connect to a powered speaker or soundbar.
Notes:
- The optical digital and analog audio outputs cannot be used simultaneously with the TV's HDMI eARC.
- The optical digital and analog audio outputs cannot be used during Bluetooth transmission.
Bluetooth Transmitter: Thanks to the TV's built-in Bluetooth 5.0 and support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP), you can connect a Bluetooth-enabled headphone, powered speaker, or soundbar with the SunBrite TV. You are able to stream audio from any of the TV's built-in sources or connected sources. The Bluetooth audio output's volume is variable, so volume of your Bluetooth speaker will need to be controlled by both the TV and the Bluetooth speaker for adequate volume level.
- The TV's built-in speakers, eARC, plus analog & digital audio outputs are all muted when using Bluetooth.
- The TV does not receiver Bluetooth audio from other Bluetooth-enabled devices (it is only a transmitter).
- The TV does not support Bluetooth hands-free communication (HFP) for making and answering phone calls.
Note: Not guaranteed to be compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled headphones, speakers, and soundbars.
Audio Settings: The SunBrite Solis TV offers a variety of audio settings to tailor the sound to your favorite content and preferences.
- Sound Presets: The TV provides preset EQ modes. Choose from Smart Sound, Standard, Clear Voice, Cinema, Sports, Music, or Game Optimizer. Clear Voice automatically detects human voices in movies and TV shows, then increases their volume to ensure that the dialog doesn't get lost in the soundtrack. You can make the voice clearer by adjusting to one of the three clarity levels.
- Equalizer: You can also adjust the TV's sound manually by using the 5-band EQ (100Hz, 300Hz, 1khz, 3khz, 10kHz) to further fine-tune the TV's sound output.

Mounting Options
Optional Wall-Mount Bracket: Made for permanent outdoor installation; the Solis Series is perfect for patios, decks, porches, etc.. The TV is a equipped with 400mm x 400mm wall-mount inserts (M8) for mounting the television to a wall using an optional outdoor wall-mount bracket (sold separately).
- Even though the Solis Series TV can be mounted Full Sun application, the TV should be installed so the screen is not facing direct sunlight, or can be easily turned away from direct sunlight. Ideal placement is in an area where the TV is shaded by trees, landscape and/or structures, or under a patio cover or gazebo.
- The position of the sun changes during the day, so the quality of the picture will change during different times of day. If you intend to install the TV in areas where direct sunlight will reach it, it's best to position the TV for optimum performance during the time of day when you do most of your TV watching.
- If the sun shines directly on the screen for long periods of time, dark areas may develop on the screen. This is a normal reaction for the LCD panel, and will not cause damage to the screen. Either turn the screen away from the sun, or apply shade to the TV, and the dark areas will quickly disappear.
Note: The TV does not include a pedestal stand.
Weatherproof Media Bay & Cable Entry System: All input and output connections are made inside the TV's integrated media bay, which is located on the rear of the television. Cables are routed through the media bay's innovative weatherproof cable entry system and plug into the respective inputs and outputs on back of the TV, inside the media bay. A water-tight cover (secured by multiple screws) and thick gaskets seal out any moisture.
Built-In AC Outlet: A IEC 3-prong AC power outlet (100-240VAC / 3A max) is found inside the TV's media bay that can be used to supply power to a media player.
Detachable Power Cord: The TV is equipped with a detachable 6' AC power cord (IEC 3-prong) that plugs into the power inlet inside the TV's media bay. When using the TV outdoors, you must use a GFI protected AC outlet (100-240 VAC, 50/60Hz, 4.7 A max) with "in-use" waterproof cover.
Note: For added protection during a lightning storm, or when the SunBrite TV is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, disconnect it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna. This prevents damage due to lightning and power-line surges.
