Clear sound and build quality.
Yakov from Alexandria, VA on 12/17/2024
This is my opinion about the Paradigm Monitor SE 3000 (WHITE GLOSS) floor-standing speakers based on several factors. Sound My living room is about 600 sq. feet. The speakers are connected with 12-gauge speaker wire to a DENON AVR x2300w. I also use a Google TV streamer. Please keep in mind that the speakers can't make sound better than the recording quality of the source. The sound of these speakers is unbelievably perfect. I can't imagine better highs and midrange, even producing some low frequencies without distortion. I have played CDs, DVDs, Hi-Res 24-bit test music, and regular music on YouTube Music. Acoustic music, jazz, classical music, and singers' voices sound perfect. Each instrument-acoustic and electric guitar, saxophone, drums, trumpet-sounds great. If you close your eyes, it feels like a "live" concert in your room with unbelievable clarity of sound not coming from these speakers. Speaker Settings To maximize sound quality, the DENON setup is very important. You have to read the manuals of these speakers as well as the manual of your audio-video receiver. I do not specify the settings I chose because they depend on the technical specs of your AVR and the size of the room where your stereo system is located. My Paradigm Monitor SE 3000 (WHITE GLOSS) not only have perfect sound, but they also look classy and have very good design and quality. It's recommended that if you want to buy a center channel speaker, you get the same
Pros: Great sound Build quality They look very elegant and compact
Cons: none

Sound System Upgrade
Kenneth from El Lago, TX on 12/15/2024
I bought a pair of 3000F speakers on a recommendation from Crutchfield product support. The 3000F speakers replaced my 43 year old Infinity 1500 speakers which finally reached end of life. The 3000F speakers provide a crisp and clear sound, and fit my needs very well. The speakers sounded great immediately after hooking them up to my new Yamaha receiver, but sounded better after a few days of breaking them in at low to moderate volume. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
Pros: Excellent sound at a good price!

Great budget floorstander's
Maxwell from Wyoming, MI on 12/13/2024
Now while these do sound good in a home theater setup, i think they might be a little lacking in a 2.0 setup. I have these paired with a premier 500c, and system as a whole sounds amazing, have have swapped to phantom center, and have used them in stereo configuration, and on their own, they dont quite have the dynamic range of the premier. They are a bit weak on the low end, it almost seems like the x2 midbass woofers dont do alot, but tweeter and midrange are awesome, and i use them with rsl speedwoofer crossed over at 80hz so im am really happy with them.
Pros: Pairs well with premier series. Clear highs. Natural sounding midrange.
Cons: Weak low end.

Amazing speakers!
Josh Painter from Radford, Virginia on 11/2/2024
I returned these speakers but not because they sounded bad. They sounded absolutely amazing on the high end. They wasn't too bright. They was just right and the mids what can I say? The mids are really really good. The part that I didn't like was it had no bass like literally no bass if you do not have a subwoofer then these speakers are not for you. I had a pair of clips speakers that I thought was too bright and that's why I was looking for other speakers. The reason I returned these four is even though I got a subwoofer. I still like to have a little bass in my speakers. I don't like them sounding thin That's the reason I'm returning them for a pair of Polk Audio signature elite because they were much heavier with bass and they blended out great. But I highly do recommend the paradigm floor standing speakers and the center channel speaker
Pros: The pros are they're not too bright. They are just perfect. Extremely crystal clear with songs and movies. Highly recommend them they handle high volumes very well
Cons: The only cons it's got is they do not have any bass to them. You have to have a subwoofer and for me even with my subwoofer they still sound it too thin on the base part of the speaker

Steve from Reynoldsburg, OH on 10/7/2024
Bought these for my daughter, excellent speaker for the price. Yes, they lack some of the finer "finishes" of more expensive speakers, but if you buy them as a match "system" you really would not notice.
Pros: Excellent service by Crutchfield (2 day delivery as promised).

Excellent
Barry from Bethlehem, PA on 3/5/2024
I really am impressed by the SE 3000F, they are what I wanted to hear and more for my room. I have tried so many different makes and models that are sold on this site and showrooms I can't even keep track of all of them. I read the reviews and knew to give them time for break-in. These speakers were great from the start, and continued to get better and better. Thank you to the previous reviewers for that info. I have them matched with a Denon DRA-685 using the Tone Defeat, Mirage Powered Sub due to the Frequency Response of 55-21k Hz. My primary use is Music. Crutchfield is awesome company to work with and read info and reviews, plus the unbeatable customer service. I feel I need to point out though that the actual dimensions for speaker is 7 1/16w X 10 5/16d. The listing in the Overview is 9w X 11 1/8d and in Details is 8 15/16w X 10 15/16d. Surprised by the discrepancy.
Pros: Clear and full range with the 3-way design, they are what I wanted to hear from speakers. Would recommend a powered sub due to the Frequency Response of 55-21k Hz in my opinion which I anticipated.
Cons: Non

Win Win
Roger from Burnaby Britsh Colombia Canada on 1/18/2024
Paradigm 3000F (white) Emotiva XS8 subwoofer Bluesound powernode Took a bit of time to break in the Paradigm 3000f. The sound felt a bit unappealing to me at first, but now after break in (which is a real thing) the sound is quite remarkable. I have never had speakers change so much and come to life as these have after it's break in period. I'm glad I gave them a chance. Very happy with my investment. Last of all, they are wife approved in the looks department with the grills on. Great sound and good look is a win/win in my books.
Pros: Sound, non fatiguing but tactile. Good sound stage. Bass its tight, but a sub is recommended. I've set crossover at 100htz. Works best to my ears.
Cons: Good for small to medium sized rooms. My room is medium/large room. Does fill the room but probably could have gone with the paradigm 6000f which has a bit of larger cabinet and an extra 5" woofer. Never heard them though (paradigm 6000f).

Best speaker for the money
Scott from REXBURG, ID on 12/22/2023
Not fully broken-in yet but the sound is fantastic for this price point. I'm using a Denon PMA-600NE and a Klipsh powered sub. The big midrange speaker gives these a full, rich sound. Highs are crisp. Piano and acoustic playback is clear and detailed. Highly recommend the Paradigm Monitor SE 3000F for your first 3-way speaker.
Pros: True 3-way design. Detailed highs and full rich midrange.
Cons: None.

Awesome unnasuming
Guest from Fruitport, mi on 10/17/2023
These are just stupid good for the money. They might have a bit of a mid bass hump but that makes them fun and absolutely does not interfere or muddy the mids. Can play surprisingly loud and deep without ear fatigue. They are too close for comfort with my 5k Focals. I'd really like a pair of the 8000f!
Pros: Play loud and clear. Great amount of detail and texture. I got 2 pairs brand new off Marketplace. Sold one pair so now I have $25 bucks into my pair total ??. At full price I would still consider them excellent for the money.
Cons: None at the price.

This is my first pair of paradigm speakers. I'm just blown away. The highs and midrange down to the bass. The build quality is really firm. Still breaking them in but so far they are just what I was looking for to listen to 2ch stereo.
Pros: The sound quality, at this price point you really get a high quality sound and look. Very impressive.
Cons: None.

Coming from a pair of Paradigm bookshelf speakers that are 20 years old, these are warmer and have a more pronounced sound stage. I'm no expert on sound but these sound really good to my ears. I'm using a 30 year old Rotel 60 watt amp and CD player.
Pros: Very good sound stage and very clean sound
Cons: None to me

Paradigm Are The Best Speakers - Period
David from New Albany, OH on 8/12/2022
Paradigm's sound and build quality is absolutely the best, and yet they are still reasonably priced. They sound much better than competitor's speakers that are considerably more expensive. And iCrutchfield's customer service is outstanding. I never had an issue until recently, and it was resolved ridiculously fast and to my complete satisfaction. Apparently all that stuff that I've read about Crutchfield's customer focus is true.
Pros: Sound Build Quality Price Design
Cons: None

Great bang for the buck speakers. The build quality has improved since a similar set I purchased in 2005. Flexible enough to complement a home theater speaker array or stand alone for 2 channel stereo.
Pros: Clean tone
Cons: One set of connections, Bi-amp hookups have been phased out (if this concerns you)

Jeff from Powell on 1/22/2022
For the price these are awesome. They do need a little break in but after that, these are very nice. I had some Sonus Faber Lumina 3's that are 3 times the price of these. Listening side by side, these are a better bang for your buck. Dont get me wrong. The SF's are great but for $2200 they are not THAT much better than these. Work for music and movies. I have them hooked up to a Bryston B60 integrated. If you are on the fence, just get em.

Delmont
William from Delmont pa on 7/18/2021
The first thing you notice is they sound not good at first. Speakers need to break in for a good bit of time. Then they sound incredible . They are very clean and detailed . They may be only 5.25 woofers but the bass is fast not colored by speaker box. The mid is clean and detailed. Now for the tweeter it's tilted to the Brite side only very little. The best bang for the buck. I listen to more higher price speakers and to get something better sounding will be at least two times the cost.
