Amazing sound for the size and price

These speakers offer incredible sound for the size and price. Full disclosure, I bought them used on e-Bay (but did pair with a AudioEngline N22 mini DAC/amp from Crutchfield). For reference I a/b'ed them against a a friend's Harbeth monitor speakers that retail for around 3k a pair, powered by a Naim Unity Atom in a 15x20 room. Honestly, they stood toe to toe with Harbeth. The latter did create a bit more space in the soundstage, but the differences were more a matter of taste rather than ranking. Amazing that these can fill a decent size room. I bought these for near-field listening at my computer, for which they are, in a word, incredibly good. Honestly, the comparison suggested more about the amp than the speakers -- these speakers are good enough that when powered by really good amp they sound amazing. They won't sound quite as good powered by the AudioEngine N22, but they still sound pretty fine. I would gladly pay full price!

Pros: Sound, size. Speakers can be arrayed horizontally or vertically

Cons: None really. Minor complaint: wish I could use banana plugs at the back, but they take raw wire through a spring system.

Paradigm MilleniaOne 1.0

Using them as Atmos speakers and selected them to stay consistent with my other Paradigm speakers. They do not disappoint with the quality of sound being something expected from a larger speaker. The included wall-mount bracket is quality, as it should be, considering the heft of these small satellites. Nice to look at, also.

Speakers are too new to say much except that they are extremely hard to setup as a bookshelf speaker. Never experienced anything as difficult to setup in 19 yrs.

Small Speaker, Big Accurate Sound

Crutchfield just started carrying the Paradigm Millenia Series, so although I didn't purchase these speakers from them, I would highly recommend doing so. My experience with Crutchfield has been outstanding. Now, to the speaker itself. The short review: The Millenia One is simply an incredible value, with sound comparable to speakers costing 3-5 times as much. As a former sound designer, I'm hard to please when it comes to the speakers I use. I discovered that when the Millenia Ones are combined to create 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound in a medium to small room, and matched with a high quality powered subwoofer, there's no question they're a great choice for those who want big sound in a smaller room. No other system I listened to came close to satisfying my need for dynamic in-your-face surround sound at this price point. This speaker's design is a marvel, marrying high-end components and a rock solid mid-range crossover with a small footprint suitable for multiple placement options. The mid and high frequencies are balanced and open, resulting in a highly satisfying sound stage, whether in a 2.1 configuration, or in a multi-channel Dolby Atmos surround system. Though you can use a Millenia One for your center channel as well, I chose instead to use a full-range center channel speaker to maximum dialogue reproduction and found the Millenia One's were a perfect complement to my Polk CS-350. Overall, these little wonders have earned by highest recommendation!

Pros: - Can be placed or mounted anywhere, with a small footprint ideal for rooms with limited placement options - Love the look! Especially in white. - Great speaker for creating a well matched multi-channel home theatre surround system in a smaller room - Absolutely stellar mid/high end sound reproduction, comparable to speakers 3-5 times the price. - Remarkable imaging, perfect for Dolby Atmos - Perfect compliment to any of the higher end Paradigm Subs

Cons: None. There's a reason these speakers have been in continuous production for 10 years. Paradigm knows a winner when it has one.
