Works with Super Lintons

I paired these with the Super Lintons as my L and R. Wharfdale doesn't create a 3 way center and that was important for my wide space. The tone match is perfect to my ears even when playing video game and I'm shifting the camera to get dialogue to pan. I am using Dirac so there is a good chance it is knocking everything into place. Regardless it works and the center channel is amazing. Make sure you have a sub since it, like most speakers, won't go down to 20 hz.
Pros: Wide sound stage, great detail, sealed so you don't have to worry about placement.
Cons: Should have upgraded the Center first.

Great natural sounding center speaker.

In my quest to upgrade from my 20yr old paradigm cinema 330 v3 center and 220 v3 LR, because they would get boomy at loud volumes. i first tried out an svs prime center, that was disappointing (crystal clear but sound was thin and bright even after audysseey, and manual adjustments) returned that, then i bought the paradigm premier 500c, and its amazing. Its just as clear as svs but very natural sounding, its not boomy, or bright. I feel like im goldilocks and just found the one thats just right! Its paired with x2 paradigm 3000f, x2 atom se, x1 rsl speedwoofer, denon x1800h.
Pros: Clear without being bright. Dynamic sound stage can hit all the lows and highs. Very natural sounding.
Cons: Cost is high, but its justifiable.

Superb quality craftsmanship, amazing soundstage, despite being told that Paradigm speakers tend to be bright, this one is definitely on the warmer side, no issue with movie dialogue or any type of music, very happy with it!

The sound from this Paradigm center is perfection itself, full without being too bright and well balanced throughout the spectrum. Now I just need to upgrade my front towers to matching Paradigms! Much admiration for this Canadian company.

I bought this shortly after buying the Paradigm 200B. I had been using a center that worked well enough in a smaller room, but was not cutting it anymore. I honestly couldn't believe the difference in performance. Very clear dialogue, with no hints of it sounding "muddy".

Transformed our listening experience. This was the last of my speakers to switch over to Paradigm. Should have done it sooner. We have a very large great room and this is the center channel that really fills the space and adds so much richness and fullness.

Paradigm Premier 500C

Returned my Wharfedale Diamond 12.c after hearing this. I preferred this over the top end GoldenEar and even the Paradigm Prestige series 55. Incredibly clear center channel for dialog.

Phenomenal Value for Money

I bought the Premier 500C at the same time I purchased Paradigm Premier 800F's as mains. I moved from the Klipsch RP-450C with the RP-8000F's. Extremely pleased with the sound quality and performance. Dialog from the 500C is quite a bit more clear, and balances well with mains and surrounds - This translates into not having to raise the volume to hear the dialog, only to have the sound effects and louder scenes approach ear-bleed levels. This speaker is a great value at it's price point and you would have to spend much more to best it.
Pros: - Well Built - Excellent Performance and Dialog Intelligibility - Wonderful Tonal Match for the Paradigm Premier Series
Cons: - Not so much a 'con' as much as a consideration, but the height of the speaker required me to raise my TV height to avoid it blocking a portion of the screen.

This is the tier of speakers where you stop worrying about the sound quality. The 500c provides entry level audiophile sound, and is suited to anyone that is serious about their home theatre but doesn't want to spend a fortune.

Paradigm Premier 500C

Upgraded my Paradigm CC170 to the Premier 500C. I was always having to turn up the volume for dialogue with the cc170. The 500C is a great improvement for my center channel and the black gloss is beautiful. Paradigm is Quality!
