Turn it up...
Joseph from New Orleans, LA on 7/9/2025
I'm an old guy who loves classic rock. The 700F is more than capable in filling up my living room with sound - very loud occasionally, but normal volume levels most of the time. I bought a sub at the same time, but honestly it is only needed to vibrate the windows. I have it set to the lowest crossover and midway on the volume. So, the 700F does a great job in the bass range. Very happy with my new speakers!

Superb Clarity
Michael from Saint Paul, MN on 12/7/2024
Generally in awe of the clarity of this true 3-way speaker. Highs are far less harsh and fatiguing than my previous Klipsch towers - greater detail and less forward in presentation. Bass is sufficient without a sub for most types of music, and more importantly it is tight. I would describe the entire listening experience as very musical. I have work to do with room placement and treatment to improve the soundstage but I'm already very pleased with the results. Driving these with a modest Denon PMA600NE rated at 45W into 8Ohms, and this combination has plenty of punch for a medium sized, 13x20 room. Aesthetically the matte fronts are glare-free and they blend into the background, even with the grills off.

Paradigm Premier 700F
Gennaro from EAST HANOVER, NJ on 10/27/2024
I've had these for about a year now. They're the best speakers I've owned. Had JBL's Wharfedale's and HSU's. they're a neutral relatively flat speaker which pairs well with Jazz. I listen more to non-compressed rock and contemporary. the upper mid's may seem a little harsh for some in the vocals but I stream Tidal connect through a wiim mini and use the parametric EQ. Setting @ 125hz. +2 db Q .25 this gives a bass shelf very accurate never boomy. @ 1.5K hz -2 db Q 1.0 this give a 1-2 K hz. dip which smooths out the vocals brings in the natural warmth and detail. the highs through the tweeter are perfect. Very satisfied would upgrade unless I was looking in the $ 5,000.00 range. Back of speaker 2' from the front wall 10' apart sitting 13' away toed in just outside my shoulders.
Pros: Sounds good at all volumes Would use them with a neutral to warm integrated. Using a Parasound 200 Integrated packs a punch.
Cons: None.

Garbage
Andrew from Bellingham, WA on 8/1/2024
I ordered these from the outlet with the understanding they would be inspected before being passed along to another unsuspecting customer. The reason I thought they would be inspected is because Crutchfield is actively publishing a video where they claim to do so. This is false. The speakers I received were catastrophically damaged upon arrival and missing parts. It was very clear that the boxes were never even opened after the initial return. From there, Crutchfield attempted to charge a fee for the return and also tried to get me to handle part of the return process on their behalf. Quite possibly the most abysmal customer service and overall most incompetent company I have ever dealt with.
Pros: None
Cons: They sound like garbage when an authorized reseller destroys them and then still tries to sell them.

Paradigm Premier 700F

Haven't had a chance to really put these to the test. I am using an A/V receiver and I don't believe it is powering enough, to bring then "To Life", but with that being said, these seem to have incredible detail. I am awaiting delivery of a Yamaha S-801 stereo integrated amp. This should pump some power into these speakers.
Pros: Very detailed. Seems as though they can hand ample power.
Cons: None so far

Very good speakers, good balance of bass, mid-range, and treble
Tom from Georgetown, TX on 9/23/2022
These speakers sound very good. They have a good balance between bass, mid-range, and high frequencies. The mid-range is clear and open sounding. I am driving them with a Cambridge Audio AXR100, which may not be the best, but it is very good. I built my first hi fi stereo in the 60's. I had University (LTV) speakers. They were 3-way speakers with a 10-12" woofer, a 5-6" mid-range, and a dome tweeter. They sounded outstanding. They finally wore out in about 2019. I replaced them with 2-way Polk TSi 300's. The Polk's were a disappointment. The mid-range was weak and they frequently sounded distorted. The distortion could have partly been that I was driving them with a bad amp, a Denon RCDN10. I soon replaced them with 2-way Cambridge Audio SX-80s. The SX-80's sounded better - less distortion, but the mid-range was still weak and the sound was not open, maybe too much damping. As someone once said, the SX-80's missed a lot of detail. I replaced the SX-80's with the 3-way Paradigm 700F's. The Paradigm's are much better. Better mid-range, more open sound, lots more detail. About as good as my old University speakers. I would probably never buy a 2-way system again for serious speakers.
Pros: Good balance of bass, mid-range, and high frequencies Clear and open sounding mid-range Lots of detail
Cons: None

just a old man in a garage with a cold beer and Bob Segers Greatest
Crutchfield customer from Mountain View, OK on 7/29/2021
setting up a 2 channel system for the garage/man cave for post retirement. these were a great choice for my music style "classic rock and older country. i did add a small sub for lower extension but am very impressed by the range of theses. I am a paradigm fan, these replaced a pair of older monitor 9v6's. sound clarity is amazing. Using a Yamaha as-801 and audiolabs 6000cdt and its a nice overall system. the only small downside and i have to say is the tweeters can be a bit harsh BUT i spend 12-14 hours in the cave and after 8 hours or so of dedicated listening " just sitting relaxing and listening to music" they can get a bit bright, but nothing major. these are still a fine pair of speakers, Made in Canada by people that know their craft well And as to Crutchfield, i have a very satisfied customer for over 25 plus years now. they are simply the best in the business.
Pros: exceptional range, very warm and relaxing sound, they will rock hard when needed and still sound amazing with soft vocals.
Cons: only a small con, the tweeters can be a bight bright after 8 hours or so of continued listening
