Product Research
Features
Marine Certified: The Infinity R3000 marine receiver features an IPX7 rating, and has been engineered and tested for use in the harsh marine environment.
4" Display Screen with Rotary Knob: The Infinity R3000 features a 4" front-panel display screen with a white backlit background and black text. The display screen supports song/artist/album information (no album art) from connected Bluetooth and USB audio devices. You can adjust the display's contrast level for optimal viewing. A 3-way rotary knob makes it easy to adjust the volume, as well as navigate and select menu options. There are also five push-buttons that control functions such as power, source, and playback. Anytime a button is pressed the unit outputs a beep tone (this can be turned off).
Audio Section: The Infinity R3000 marine receiver is equipped with a built-in 20 watts (RMS) x 4 channel / 55 watts (Peak) x 4 channel amplifier that is 2-ohm stable. The Infinity R3000 is outfitted with a stereo RCA line output that can be used to connect an external power amplifier. This stereo RCA line output is full-range and balances/fades with the front speaker outputs.
- Equalizer: The marine receiver features 5 EQ preset modes - Flat, Classic, Pop, Rock, or Off.
- Tone Control: The marine head unit also offers independent Bass & Treble control, along with Balance & Fader adjustment.
- Loudness: When listening to music at low volume levels, the Loudness feature will boost the bass & treble response.
- Turn-On Volume: In addition, you can setup the marine stereo to turn-on at the same volume level (0-50) each and every time.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The Infinity R3000 supports wireless audio playback (AD2P) and control (AVRCP) of a Bluetooth source device, such as your smartphone or tablet. You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps and other audio content on your Bluetooth source device to the marine receiver. You'll also be able to control basic playback functions (such as Play/Pause & Previous/Next Track) from the receiver's front-panel. In addition, song/artist/album info (no album art) will be displayed on the unit's front-panel. You can only pair and connect one Bluetooth source device at a time.
Note: This unit does not support Bluetooth hands-free communication for making and answering phone calls.
USB Port: The Infinity R3000 is equipped with a rear-panel USB (type-A) port attached to the chassis by a 6" pigtail. The USB port allows you to connect a USB thumbdrive. The unit supports audio playback & control of MP3/WMA audio files stored on a compatible USB thumbdrive (up to 32GB). The unit offers Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Reverse, Previous/Next Track, and Random/Repeat playback functions. This unit will also display song/artist/album information (not album art). The USB port (5V/0.5A) can also charge the battery of some USB devices.
Note: The unit's USB port does not support Apple iOS or Android OS devices. USB hubs and card-readers are not supported.
Aux Input: This unit features a rear mounted, stereo RCA auxiliary input on a 6" pigtail so you can connect an external audio source. A RCA-to-Minijack cable (sold separately) will be required for the connection of a portable audio player with a headphone jack output.
AM/FM/WB Tuner: The Infinity R3000 marine receiver features a built-in AM/FM tuner with manual, seek, and preset tuning. You can select either US or European tuning. It also features a built-in weather band tuner. You can store up to 12 FM, 6 AM, and 6 WB station presets. Stations can be stored manually or automatically. There is Preset Scan function that scans each preset station in the current band for 6 seconds.
Bulkhead Mount: The Infinity R3000 requires a rectangular cutout in the bulkhead for inserting the chassis. The marine receiver has a shallow mounting depth, perfect for space conscious installation on small boats and personal watercrafts, where this is especially crucial. Four screws (supplied) fasten the faceplate against the mounting surface, and hold the included waterproof gasket against the bulkhead. A supplied mounting gasket also assists you with the cutout and drilling the screw holes.
- Cutout Dimensions: 5.1875" (w) x 2.0" (h) x 4.75" (d)
- Front-Panel Dimensions: 6.445" (w) x 2.975" (h) x 0.875" (d)
- Screw Hole Spacing: 5.75" (w) x 1.75" (h) x 1.0" (d)
Note: The marine receiver does not meet the dimensions or include a mounting sleeve or ISO-mount screw holes to accommodate standard automotive installation.
