Good stealthy antenna with decent reception
Lyle from Woods Cross, UT on 11/20/2024
Antenna was installed under the dash of a boat. Reception was decent in the garage, but haven't tried it on the lake yet. The adhesive tape stuck great to the boat. Just what I was looking for.
Pros: Good sticky adhesive, reception was good
Cons: Only 18" of antenna cable, you might need an extension.

Works as should. It does need additional 12 volt to power it. Best 20 bucks youll spend.
Pros: It works great!
Cons: Wish wires were a little longer.

The AM FM Antenna you sent me sucks. Took my S X S to my camp to ride and fm wouldn't even pick up a channel so listened to zero music the whole weekend!

Works as described. Great that it is concealed so there is no risk of snagging with covers, fishing lines, ropes, etc. Better reception than a regular marine antenna that was under the console when I got my boat.
Pros: Concealed and powered.
Cons: A easy install for someone younger than me (72 years old). Still not that difficult. The hard part is getting back up from laying on the floor of the boat.

I use this in combination with an external rubberized antenna and have indeed boosted my reception (You will need a Y cable with one male and two female ends). There are no directions but the installation process is self-evident. Simply plug the male coax into the female receiver on the head unit, black to ground and red to power. So far, the adhesive backing is holding well under marine conditions.

Not very impressed with reception of antenna. installed in a boat under very thin plastic material just below windshield and still dose not have good reception. No instructions included with product to give best install tips and wires are short which causes limited places you can install.
Pros:
Cons: short wires not good reception
