I love these speakers! In the 1990s, I had an excellent system. All separates from NAD, Sony Elite, and others. Mirage M-5si floor speakers bi-wired and bi-amped using Audioquest Clear and Midnight cables, etc. The B10 speakers sound better. For testing new speakers or headphones, I listen to Stevie Ray Vaughn's - Chitlins Con Carne, Primus's - Wounded Knee, and David Brubeck's - Take Five. All sounded much better. I could spend 10s of thousands more on better equipment, but could I hear the difference? Probably not. So, the B10s work just fine for me.

Fantastic Speakers!!

I bought these after reviewing MANY speakers at Magnolia, NFM, Audio Concepts here in Dallas etc. The clarity and sound stage from these is amazing, better than the KEF LS50 meta, although those have more bass. The Klipsh sound descent but no match. Some of the Paradigm, Focal and B&W speakers were as good or better but had a higher price point. If you compare those brands at the same price point the ML wins every time.

Pros: Clarity, imaging and sound stage

Cons: If anything it's lacking some bass, either you need a class A/B high current amp to get them going or a descent sub.

In a word -- incredible

In one word: Incredible. I'm using these speakers in my home office, paired with my Denon RCD-N10 mini stereo receiver. Great pairing, and the sound is impeccable. The star of the show here is ML's 2nd gen. Obsidian Folded Motion / ribbon tweeter. From top to bottom, the sound is rich, detailed and dynamic. I compared these speakers with both my own Paradigm 100B speakers, and the B&W 707 S2's & Monitor Audio Silver 50 7g (both at a home theater store). The MA Silver 50s, IMO, weren't even in the same league as the other speakers in the bunch. The B&W 707 s2's and Paradigm 100B were both close in performance. There's just something special about the ML B10's when compared to the rest. I believe it's their ribbon tweeter that put them on top, at least it did for me. Very highly recommended.
