Excellent speaker! Using them for front elevation atmos and rear surrounds. Very versatile speaker regarding speaker placement and installation angles.

Pros: Sound, clarity, versatility

Cons: Wish bracket could adjust side to side angle at least 15 degrees along with the downward angle as it does

The perfect surrounds

I bought these to replace Cambridge Audio Minx speakers I'd purchased in a hurry after a remodel. I've been missing some of the midrange clarity and lows that a larger surround could offer, but needed to get something that was (relatively) affordable, wall-mountable (cutting the walls was not doable due to the asymmetric nature of the room), and sounded good in my current setup which has two Mackie HR824 powered monitors for the mains and an old large Infinity IL36C for the center, and a set of Orb Audio speakers on the ceiling for Atmos. I appreciate crisp highs (as you can guess from my affinity for Infinity), but I was surprised at how well these speakers integrated into my heterogeneous setup where voice matching simply hasn't been a priority. Surprisingly, these sounded perfect alongside the Mackies and the Infinity center channel, and running through a few Atmos titles on UHD Blu-Ray and streaming proved these speakers blended seamlessly and provided the extra oomph! the Minx were lacking, and the bass exceeded my expectations. I'm a Martin Logan fan now and I'm seriously considering going with the XT C100 to replace the Infinity IL36C, and picking up a stereo amp and a pair of XT B100s to free up the Mackies to return to studio monitor duty...

Pros: Beautiful high-end Crisp, strong midrange Surprising level of bass for size

Cons: Wall-mounting instructions lack detail

Absolutely impressive sound and versatility

I have been waiting for a ML speaker with this utility! I bought these for Atmos height front wall speakers (soon will add a set for the rear). I couldn't be happier with them! For my 5 bed layer channels I'm running the previous gen motion series (60xti, 50xti and FX surrounds) hooked up to an anthem AVM 70 pushed by a MCA 525 and 325. They blend absolutely perfect with the previous gen motions. Before I mounted them up on the wall I ran them as front L R for a couple days to break them in and see what they sound like. They sounded better than my 60xti at least in the mid to upper range. Very detailed and seems like they imaged better. Absolutely impressive! The new obsidian tweeter sounds absolutely amazing and is making me want to upgrade the rest of my speakers to the current motion series haha. The mounting/placement flexibility, aesthetics, sound fidelity and build quality makes this speaker an easy recommendation for surround or height channels.

Pros: Size, placement, sound quality, finish

Cons: Not a real con but I do wish ML offered a model with a 6.5 woofer and XT tweeter larger tweeter
